Today I’m whisking you all off to Pinner, a delightful little town in Middlesex, just a hop, skip and jump from the bright lights of London. As ever, this glamorous adventure involves me donning my favourite pink tutu and twirling my way to some magical events. And who knows, I might just get you all embracing the joy of a tutu too!
As a dedicated scientist by day and dazzling drag queen by night, my days are pretty hectic, but I always carve out time for a trip by train (horseback if the mood takes me) and a grand adventure in a pink tutu.
But before we get into the Pinner festivities, let’s flashback to where this journey began…
I first found my true calling back in the hallowed halls of Derbyshire University. You’d think a budding scientist would be drawn to the world of test tubes and Bunsen burners, right? Well, my fellow academics were surprised to see a certain Alex – my everyday self – fall head-over-heels for a pink tutu at the university's annual charity fundraiser. A tiny little twinkle sparked, and before I knew it, the drag name Pink Tutu Sparkles was born! 💖
Since those exciting beginnings, my world has revolved around tutus, ballet, and spreading that fabulous pink magic far and wide. I love to shimmy my way onto stages of all shapes and sizes, performing for cheering crowds and inspiring children and adults alike to embrace the freedom of self-expression.
Pinner: A Day Filled with Sparkles
Now back to my journey to Pinner! Today I’m performing at the annual ‘Pink Tea Party’ – a lovely affair organized by the Pinner Ballet Club. 🧁 You know I couldn't resist, especially since it's a chance to rub shoulders with fellow ballet enthusiasts! I’ll be doing a special Pink Tutu routine and spreading my signature ‘tutudocious' charm. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of photos and stories for my loyal followers on www.pink-tutu.com. 💖
But before I can sashay my way into the limelight, a bit of shopping is essential. I’m on the hunt for a new ballet skirt, and a pair of divine heels that will sparkle under the stage lights. Nothing says 'Pink Tutu Sparkles' quite like a glitzy pair of shoes! 👠✨
After my fabulous shopping spree, it's time for a visit to the Pinner ballet studios for a little bit of training. The ballet world is my comfort zone, so you can bet your bottom dollar I’m going to twirl, leap, and prance to my heart’s content. 🩰💖
Pinner Delights
But it's not all about the ballet, you know! Pinner itself is a delight. It has the most charming little boutiques selling adorable trinkets and a plethora of independent cafes where I can sip a lovely pink latte. ☕
Later on, after my teatime, I’m going to indulge in a trip to Pinner Wood. Who doesn't love a stroll in a woodland haven wearing a gorgeous pink tutu?! Nature at its best. 🌿

As you all know, my life mission is to get everyone embracing the joy of tutus, especially pink tutus! It's all about expression, joy and that feeling of pure happiness you get when you step into a beautiful tutu. And, let's face it, a pink tutu makes every day feel like a celebration! ✨💖
I believe that everyone deserves to have that spark in their lives and, for me, it is wearing a tutu and inspiring others to embrace their inner pink tutu sparkle. 💫
