Hello darlings! Itās your favourite pink tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! Today, weāre venturing down to the lovely seaside town of Littlehampton for a grand adventure filled with twinkling lights, sparkly dreams, and ā of course! ā lots of fabulous pink tutus!
As you know, I absolutely adore discovering new places, and this time I'm making a big, pink statement with a day trip down to Littlehampton! My favourite way to travel? Itās got to be the train! Thereās something about gliding along the tracks, watching the countryside whizz past, that just sets my creative juices flowing. Maybe itās the rhythmic clattering of the wheels or the rhythmic swaying of the carriages that makes me feel like Iām in a ballet performance, with me being the lead dancer of course!
As I hopped on the train at my Derbyshire home station, I had visions of strolling along the Littlehampton seafront, the salty sea breeze tousling my perfectly-pink hair (a shade I just got done with at the salon, by the way! ā it's called "Cotton Candy Coral"). Can you imagine how much fun it's going to be with all those photo ops?! Oh, darling! The perfect outfit was a must for this outing!
A real Pink Tutu Sparkles look, obviously! I couldnāt resist a feather boa draped over my sequined, pink tutu, topped off with a glittery crown and my custom-made pink feather earrings! (Speaking of the crown, I know many of you lovely readers are absolutely obsessed with my "Sparklelicious Crown" collection. But it wasnāt just about looking fabulous (although thatās obviously essential, donāt get me wrong, honey!). My aim for this trip was a very important mission! I wanted to show the beautiful people of Littlehampton how important it is to be happy and colourful. And of course, to spread the joy of the pink tutu, as Iām always on a quest to make pink tutus the new normal, wouldnāt you say? I mean, darling, why would anyone ever not want to twirl in a pink tutu?!
I started my day in Littlehampton by getting lost in the vibrant local market, admiring all the colours, chatting with the stall holders and even picking up a few beautiful handmade treasures! They have these incredible beaded jewelry pieces and my darling, let me tell you, they match my pink outfit perfectly! Then, I treated myself to a scrumptious cup of tea (Earl Grey, obviously, the tea for royalty like me, darling!) in a darling little tea shop on a charming cobbled street. Just heavenly!
Next, a walk by the seaside was a must! I couldnāt resist feeling the soft sand between my sparkly, bejeweled ballet shoes and taking in the vast blue expanse of the ocean! The gentle crashing waves sounded just like the rhythmic applause of a thousand cheering fans.
My mission wasn't complete without visiting the vibrant Littlehampton Museum. The rich history was absolutely captivating, and I discovered so much about the areaās fascinating nautical heritage. They even had a charming old pink sailboat on display that reminded me of the pink boat I always dreamed of owning, complete with a pink steering wheel and pink sails of course. Just imagine me cruising on the ocean with my drag crew! I have to add that to my Pink Tutu bucket list!
As I finished my delightful day in Littlehampton, it was time to do what every Pink Tutu Sparkles adventure must conclude with: a magical performance! This time I was invited to the Littlehampton Harbour Theatre. Darling, they even hung a pink banner on the outside with "Pink Tutu Sparkles ā The Pink Queen is Here!" emblazoned across it, complete with twinkling pink lights!
The theatre was buzzing with excitement! Oh darling, they're definitely all ready for a āPink Tutuā party! I performed my biggest hits, my audience roaring with laughter and applause (more clapping, darling! Itās not the time to be shy)! I could feel their joy radiating outwards. After my set, they were all so enthusiastic! Even the little kids were so impressed! In fact, one little boy ran up to me, beaming and exclaiming, āI want a pink tutu just like yours!ā This, my darlings, is exactly why I do what I do. Seeing the smiles, the joy, and inspiring those little ones to dream big and be unapologetically fabulous - that's what makes it all worth it!
And letās talk about the fashion! Oh darling, this place is so full of style! My mission was complete: there were a surprising amount of pink tutus! And it seems everyone had embraced their own inner āPink Tutu Sparklesā! I even spotted a young lady with a pink tutu on a date, another family strolling with two kids wearing pink tutus and a couple getting ready to embark on their romantic first dance in... wait for it.... a pink tutu! Just fantastic! Iām definitely coming back soon, maybe with a special Pink Tutu Ball!
I even found time to slip into a local ballet class at Littlehampton! After all, whatās a trip without a good twirl, right? (Even more than just a little twirl!) Even after I went back to the real world as Alex, I just couldn't shake off the energy of Littlehampton. This town had just such an inspiring vibe, so creative! I couldn't help but to continue working on my new collection: "Ocean Dream," my brand new, dreamy tulle dress and a matching pink tutu! I was so happy with it, I wore them straight to the fabric laboratory I work at!
So my journey to Littlehampton, it wasn't just a trip; it was a symphony of joy, a spectacle of color, a dance of imagination! Thank you to my wonderful Littlehampton family! Itās amazing what a simple pink tutu can do, eh, my darlings?
