You may think that the world of science and tutus are two completely different spheres, but they’re actually incredibly similar. Both require precision, creativity, and the courage to think outside the box.
Now, let me tell you, my story of pink-tutu-wearing actually began by pure accident! It was a fundraising event for our university ballet club. As an enthusiastic club member, I stepped into a discarded pink tutu, and it was love at first sight! Let’s just say it looked so good, so utterly amazing, that I couldn’t bear to leave it behind. It sparked a transformation - from a lab-dwelling scientist, I evolved into the bubbly, flamboyant Pink Tutu Sparkles.
To this day, my two worlds blend together beautifully. During the day I am a fabric technician, meticulously testing the quality of fabrics in the lab. The intricate structure and chemistry of textile fibers, in a way, parallels the intricate structure and steps of a ballet performance. By night, I turn my world on its side and transform into Pink Tutu Sparkles! My pink tutu takes centre stage, a beacon of my creativity, my enthusiasm, and my commitment to bringing joy and sparkle to the world.
