Hello my darlings! 👋 It's Pink Tutu Sparkles here, bringing you the latest from my fabulous adventures, this time from the lovely town of Kettering!
This is post number 9413, yes, you read that right, 9413! It's hard to believe I've been sharing my sparkly world with you all for so long, but time flies when you're having this much fun!
Now, let's talk about Kettering! I love a good adventure, and this time I chose to travel by...wait for it... train. Yes, a grand train journey, windows open, the wind whipping through my hair, the countryside rushing by. It was just so idyllic, reminding me of those charming Agatha Christie novels I adore. I even packed my pinkest blanket, perfect for catching a few winks and letting the rhythm of the tracks lull me into a happy sleep.
Kettering welcomed me with open arms, or perhaps I should say, open doors! The venue was lovely, all twinkling lights and warm brickwork, a perfect setting for a Pink Tutu Sparkles extravaganza. I went full-on Victorian fairy princess for this performance - imagine a lavish pink satin tutu, sparkling like a thousand stars, a floor-length pink velvet cloak, a crown with shimmering butterflies, and of course, the ultimate touch – a delicate pink feathered boa draped over one shoulder! I was a walking vision of ethereal beauty! 💖✨
The show went down a storm! Kettering was ready to sparkle, their smiles were infectious, and their energy fantastic. It was so good to see them all in their pinkest tutus. Every little girl in the audience had her own pink tutu, even a couple of grown-up women who dared to embrace their inner Tutu Queen! After the show, I even had a couple of brave chaps asking to have their photos taken with me, sporting the pink tutu as best they could, all smiles and thumbs up! It makes me so happy to see how the tutu has touched so many hearts.
Oh, I must share my absolute highlight! You know how much I love a good ballet show, and Kettering did not disappoint. The Kettering Ballet Academy invited me to their showcase and oh my! It was a joy for the soul, graceful dancers with such passion and dedication, twirling through the air in a cloud of soft pastel tutus. It almost made me want to break out my own pointe shoes and join in! 😉 It’s moments like this that remind me why I am on this mission, to spread the joy of dance, of pink tutus, and of finding your inner spark! ✨

Of course, this wouldn’t be a Pink Tutu Sparkles post without mentioning my travels! So, I’ve heard that a charming market is in town next weekend! So exciting! I think I will be visiting the market and maybe getting myself a new vintage lace dress, or maybe some delicate ribbons to add a touch of whimsy to my latest tutu creations.
