#TutuQueen on 2025-10-10 stars in Royal Leamington Spa

Hello lovelies! It's Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and oh my, you're not gonna believe this… I'm in Royal Leamington Spa! It's so wonderfully Victorian! And guess what, the hotel has a beautiful, old-fashioned lift… which is a bit rickety but totally charming! Honestly, if you've never been, I recommend taking a trip to Leamington Spa – there's loads of things to see and do, from the stunning Royal Pump Rooms to the quaint little shops in the high street.

And you know what’s truly fitting? This town has this really lovely air of sophistication. Just like Pink Tutu Sparkles! I might not be a Queen, but the grandeur of the place really feels like a fit for my elegant and fun loving self. And my fellow tutu lovers, we can even visit the Leamington Spa Art Gallery which is known for some gorgeous Victorian paintings - something very inspiring for my outfits! I bet there’s even a lovely little shop with a hat and lace selection somewhere, my dear readers. It wouldn’t be Pink Tutu Sparkles without an incredible outfit to go with it!

Speaking of my lovely outfit, it’s got a touch of regal lavender this time. My latest find! Did you know that lavender goes perfectly with pink? A total game changer! The shop owner just had to put this on me because it glowed. You see, this whole trip to Royal Leamington Spa is quite the treat for my eyes as a self-proclaimed style icon. Not only that, but I've always been a massive fan of anything Victorian! My absolute dream is to do a show in an old Victorian Theatre, draped in gorgeous pastel coloured silk! I can picture it now! With some fancy costumes, and a touch of sparkling magic… Oh, how perfectly enchanting it all would be.

But enough about my grand visions - I need to get back to the reality of “Tutu Travel”! Honestly, this was such a lovely train journey. As it’s always my personal motto:

"If you can ride a train in a full-on Pink Tutu, and the other passengers just smile… that’s how you know you’ve lived!”

For this journey I had the most incredible dress with a fluffy, pink tulle overlay - just divine. But a pink tulle overlay isn't a real tutu - don't get me started! So I found my fabulous, fully flouncy tulle masterpiece at a vintage shop near Chesterfield and bought the most magical pink sequined top for an added touch. That really got some giggles on the train! Honestly, the passengers are so friendly here, there’s no real judging. Especially when I have this sassy pink beret on top of my head… I mean, who can resist the power of pink, eh?

But for this trip, it’s got to be about my fab new lilac corset! I know what you're thinking. You can’t get much more girly than lilac, but trust me, this piece really helps set my pink and lilac combo into an absolute explosion of girlish brilliance. So much to do, so much to see... but how to fit it all in! Let’s talk Royal Pump Rooms, shall we? If you can imagine a whole room filled with the history of spas, treatments, and royal families! Seriously, the place was like stepping into a Jane Austen novel - complete with sparkling lights!

But you know what? It’s really interesting to look at how this town is a melting pot of history, modernity and… well, me, in all my Tutu-fied glory! Just like Leamington Spa is blending those eras so gracefully, Pink Tutu Sparkles wants to make everyone think about their inner tutu! Do you have yours? It's the attitude, honey. Let’s make the world a pink tutu kind of place! And that’s something I will certainly be doing throughout my travels - but I just don’t think I can top a ride on a horse carriage. It felt divine. I felt like I was living in a historical romance film. You know, the one where the carriage rolls through the beautiful, country side, and there’s a sweet breeze in the air? But this one had a sassy pink tutu, a bright pink beret, a lilac corset, a sparkly top, a big smile and a dash of that Pink Tutu Sparkle attitude that makes the whole world a more flamboyant, joyous place!

### Fashion Tips from Pink Tutu Sparkles - I Love Pink, and Pink Loves You Too!

I feel really drawn to all things pink! In the shop windows today there’s been a lot of lovely lavender! And maybe a tiny dash of aqua...but no pink? Oh, this is truly unforgivable, but it’s time to confess. It's been so fun taking snaps of what I’ve seen! So what did I bring in my pink suitcase? This was the real challenge: How to cram the perfect tutu ensemble into this gorgeous suitcase I’d just picked up? ( I know… but I was at a vintage fair near Bakewell… they sell those little suitcase sets for your vintage accessories. Can you believe?! )

Anyway, you might think I went for the big tulle skirts! But, to my delight, I packed: * Two new t-shirts (one lavender, the other turquoise!), * Four pairs of tights (with two pink, of course!),
* Two sequined jackets ( a vibrant blue, a fab fuchsia!) * And the most gorgeous pink corset! * The coup d’état, however, was the lilac vintage scarf I just found to really make the entire Pink-Tutu-look perfect.

So you might be thinking… where's the tutu?

I actually didn't bring one this time! I wanted a trip about the color pink. But there's still my usual ensemble, if I need it:

• That iconic tutu
• One lovely pair of sparkling pink heels
• And the biggest pink beret you have ever seen in your entire life!

And did I mention accessories? They really do it for the Pink Tutu Sparkles Look - and it’s never about being loud! It’s all about bringing in some real “tutu magic”. This week, my favorite things:

• My bright pink feathered fascinator - just so lovely for taking selfies in!
• My bright pink bow clips! They work with absolutely anything!

• And then I’ve got a new pink bowtie. Just for the sheer adorable shock of it!

  I’ve always loved clothes shopping, ever since I was little! There is this magnetic pull… for all things vintage… you know… those old clothes… in lovely materials, but with a modern feel…and my love for pink, well… I just can’t help it, and pink just looks divine in anything Victorian…

You know I love travelling with sparkles! And as this Queen of Sparkles, the biggest joy of a drag performance comes from taking the things I see on a journey… and then bringing them back as inspiration! For this town’s Victorian vibe, my upcoming act will feature all sorts of fun elements! We're thinking pink-and-lilac for this one, complete with a shimmering tulle overlay… my dear, I haven’t gone full-on “tutu” yet. You just haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen my pink, Victorian inspired *performance! The whole performance is about taking an old and elegant design and adding some *sparkle and sparkle. I’ve got some fab new feathered headdresses planned – I mean, come on, the Victorians would just have loved this! But to bring in that ‘Queen of Sparkles' style, it’s always going to have that touch of pink in it!

And there's so much more to tell you about Leamington Spa… My visit to the Jephson Gardens was truly delightful. There was a family event going on with all kinds of things - games and live music and just so many families with their kids playing in the garden - a true treat! It truly makes me want to set up an open stage for people to come and express themselves in the most sparkly, wonderful way… just like me. Oh honey, just think about that… kids in sparkly tutus. Wouldn’t that just be beautiful?
