By day, I'm Alex, your friendly neighbourhood scientist, testing fabric in a laboratory. By night, I’m Pink Tutu Sparkles, bringing glitz, glamour, and yes, even a hint of science (let’s not forget those feather boas have some impressive aerodynamic properties!) to every stage and fair I grace. 🤩
But it all started, you ask? Well, it all began in Derbyshire, where this girl, yes, even little Alex, dreamed of pirouette-ing across the world! One university ballet club, one charity tutu, and my life was forever changed. From that day on, my love affair with the pink tutu blossomed into an obsession! ✨ But it wasn’t just the tutus, my darlings. It was the colours, the joy, the confidence it exuded. I’m packed, I’m prepped, my sparkly pink lipstick is popping and my favourite, slightly larger than life, hot pink tutu, is ready to twirl! 💕 The journey will be a lovely train ride, with the sweetest smells of freshly cut grass, the rhythmic clickety-clack of the wheels, and the thrill of the scenery flitting past. Perhaps I’ll be in luck, and find myself a lovely gentleman to chat with or even join me in a spirited rendition of “Singing in the Rain” (sans the water, naturally!) 🎶 Or maybe, just maybe, I'll even find a trusty horse, a perfect steed to carry me towards the Crosby seaside! 🐴 One can always dream, can’t they?

We’ll be kayaking, boarding, and if you’re really lucky, maybe a spot of water-skiing too.
