Imagine me, Pink Tutu Sparkles, stepping off a steam train straight into a fairytale. Honestly, the railway station felt like something straight out of 'The Railway Children'! The air was crisp and the cobbled streets were just begging for a pirouette or two. Now, I know you're thinking "Tutu, in Stratford? What on earth for?". Well darlings, I simply couldn't resist! The Bard himself was known for his dramatic flair, and this town simply buzzes with artistic energy. The Royal Shakespeare Company's theatre is magnificent. I'm all about the glitz and glamour of the stage, so a trip here was simply unavoidable!
Now, I love a good bit of high fashion and finding unique pieces to add to my fabulous collection. It’s no secret that I'm absolutely obsessed with clothes, especially in Stratford, a town known for its independent boutiques. I just love discovering those hidden gems and snagging something utterly unique! A gorgeous vintage blouse? I snagged it! A bright pink hat adorned with feathers and sequins? Totally my style! Imagine Romeo, Juliet and the entire Royal Family dressed in magnificent tutus. It was absolutely divine! They say “never trust a skinny ballet dancer” and I tell you the moves were out of this world. This performance was about poetry in motion. Absolutely magical!

And Stratford didn't disappoint! I had a grand time browsing the independent stores filled with delights. It was pink heaven. And to my absolute joy, I discovered a shop selling handmade tutus - so vibrant, so colorful! They reminded me of my first tutu. I remember buying that very first tulle dream in my teens, while studying for my Science Degree. You won't believe it, but the day I decided to embrace the world of drag, was the day I bought my first tutu for a university charity event. That’s the day I discovered my true calling - the true pink tutu Sparkles was unleashed!

The charming atmosphere, the historical charm, and of course, the abundance of cultural delights, all wrapped up in a beautiful, Shakespearean setting. I truly felt like I'd stepped into a magical fairytale, and even had the chance to ride a horse-drawn carriage, because darlings, I know how to make an entrance, naturally.
