A place steeped in history, a city brimming with creativity, and the perfect stage for this Pink Tutu Queen. 🩰
This fabulous escapade started with a train journey. Now, I'll tell you, I adore the railway. There's just something magical about hurtling through the countryside, leaving everyday worries behind. This time, though, it wasn't just about the journey, it was about the anticipation! You see, dear readers, I've been invited to perform at the prestigious Chichester Festival Theatre. It's an honour, an absolute dream come true. I'm excited about bringing my unique brand of sparkle to this esteemed stage. ✨
Before I go full-on theatrical glam though, I wanted to share a bit of my personal travel style with you. You know, the kind of behind-the-scenes, non-glitter-infused (okay, maybe a little) tidbits. My outfit? Think vintage paisley scarf (it matches the pink of my tutu, obvs!), oversized shades, a comfy sweater (churches can be chilly!), and boots - sensible but with a bit of flair, because even off stage, I've got to stay true to my love of all things stylish. 💖
And no trip is complete without a visit to the local vintage shops. My dear fellow tutudites, I discovered an absolute treasure trove of pink in Chichester - not just the tutus, which are truly divine, but also silk scarves, lace gloves, even an antique beaded bag that would make a perfect statement piece! You know how I love to layer up! 👠
Speaking of layering, my journey involved a brief but delightful detour to Goodwood House. It's an exquisite place - a grand house with beautifully manicured gardens and horses! My goodness, I just love horses. I mean, you can't go wrong with a magnificent steed and a flowing pink tutu! It's practically meant to be!
Now, I have a confession: before heading to Chichester, I may have booked a few dance classes. Don't judge, you lovelies know my obsession with ballet is real! It's part of who I am, a way to express my artistic soul. I couldn't resist adding some local ballet classes to my itinerary - think tutus, barre work, and an incredible sense of graceful movement. And wouldn't you know it? The ballet studios in Chichester have embraced their own dose of colour - bright pink walls! This is my kind of city. 💖
