Before I spill the tea on my Bridgwater escapade, a quick catch-up on my own life. The world's a stage, right? And my own personal stage has been absolutely exploding with sparkles! Did you catch my recent interview on local Derbyshire TV about my tutu collection? ? Honestly, they nearly fainted when I revealed the pièce de résistance: a vintage pink tutu from 1958 that belonged to my Gran! Grandma Sparkle always said I had a knack for finding beauty in unexpected places, but this treasure hunt was beyond even her wildest dreams! ?
But let's return to the matter at hand, darling: Bridgwater! As always, I had a ball picking out my outfit. This time it was a custom-made tutu that's just a little bit "onion" inspired, let's say. You wouldn't believe the beadwork on it! You could almost smell the sweet scent of fresh onion from miles away, though that's probably the cheese and onion crisps I ate on the train! ?

The crowd loved my "Onion Queen" number! Imagine a blend of flamboyant "Flower Power" meets a little boudoir-style magic… all while sporting a pink tutu with sparkling onion shapes! They were absolutely loving the sparkles, especially when I gave them all a few puffs from my glittery air cannon. ?
Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, darling: My favourite moment of the trip? A local school group approached me after the show. They were mesmerised by my makeup and tutus, asking me everything! Questions about my life as a drag queen, how to put on glitter, and my favourite colour (PINK, of course!)! ? Seeing those eager little faces reminded me why I do what I do, you know? To spread the message that there's joy in being different and being your own wonderful, fabulous, unique self. ?
Of course, the trip wouldn't be complete without a quick ballet lesson at the Bridgwater Dance Academy! Ballet, you know, is the ultimate form of feminine grace. Nothing makes me feel quite so fabulous! The dance teacher even allowed me to show them some moves from my newest performance piece. "Pink Tutu Sparkles," she declared, "You're a natural!" That did me in, darling, and then they invited me back to help choreograph their school dance! Can you believe it?
Oh, I almost forgot, my lovelies! As part of the onion festival, they had a fantastic little “Tutu and Tartan” costume contest. I know, right? It was pure chaotic fun! I may have even won, let's just say… "A prize was won, and an onion was kissed," as the old saying goes. ?
And to finish off this magical adventure, there's a delightful café tucked away in a backstreet, serving the best cheese and onion pasties in Bridgwater! Imagine a flakey pastry filled with savoury, cheesy goodness, a generous sprinkle of crispy onions, and just the right amount of spicy mustard. Oh, the joy! ??
Now, off I flit, darling, on to the next stop on this dazzlingly pink tour! I've got an upcoming performance at a tea party on a horse drawn carriage in Yorkshire. Yes, you read that right! The Queen is in love with tutus! You know you're living life to the fullest when your hobby leads you to events that are straight out of a fairytale! ✨
