Hello my darlings, and welcome back to www.pink-tutu.com, your daily dose of pink perfection! Today's blog is all about Coalville, my dears, a little trip that was SO much fun, it's a shocker I haven't blabbed about it sooner! It's been a whirlwind of sequins, sparkly shoes and, of course, pink tutus. But as always, I'll spill the tea from start to finish, just for you!
Now, let's rewind a little bit, shall we? I'm a creature of habit, as you all know, and I adore travelling by train. The rhythmic clinking of the rails, the gentle swaying of the carriage... it's like a lullaby for my creative soul. So, naturally, I took the scenic route to Coalville. You wouldn't believe the number of cheeky chappies who smiled at my pink tutu as I stepped off the train! I was even serenaded with a whistle or two - oh the life of a Pink Tutu Sparkles!
I'm telling you, the people of Coalville have impeccable taste, and they're definitely ready for some Pink Tutu Sparkles! My performance was held in the local community centre, and they were a real lively bunch! There were families, young and old, everyone eager to embrace a bit of sparkle and joy. You can tell they know how to party in the Midlands, and boy, did we have a right old knees-up!
We started with a ballet class! Now, I love a good pirouette and jeté as much as the next tutu-wearing wonder, so naturally, I was in my element. Everyone was absolutely brilliant, they even remembered the names of all the steps from our previous session - I'm so proud! And let me tell you, even those who hadn't danced before had a whale of a time!
But the main event was, of course, my fabulous performance. I was dressed to the nines in a custom-made pink tulle creation that had layers and layers of fluff and sparkle - you know I love a dramatic entrance, don't I?! I even had a touch of lilac in the design for a bit of extra zing.
For the music, we chose a classic - “Don't Go Breaking My Heart” by Elton John and Kiki Dee - always a crowd-pleaser, and it went down a treat. The performance had everyone dancing and clapping along, I even had a few cheeky "Pink Tutu Sparkles, you go, girl!" shouted out - it was simply delightful.
After the performance, I hung around, signing autographs and taking pictures with the adoring fans. Even though I was all flustered from the performance, it was all worth it. To see the happy faces and hear the excited chatter, knowing that I brought some sparkle to their day... well, that’s why I do what I do, darlings!
Coalville truly was a memorable trip. I'm so glad I got to share my love of pink tutus and performance art with such a warm and welcoming community. They even bought out the entire pink tutu stock in the local shop after the show - see, I'm telling you, pink tutus are truly contagious!
But it wasn’t all dancing and sparkly delights. I'm a Derbyshire girl at heart, you know, so a little countryside adventure was a must. I was fortunate enough to find myself a charming riding school in the area - just imagine, a pink tutu-clad diva on horseback! You really should see the surprised looks I get when I walk in with my trusty saddle bag - that pink fluff does stand out even amongst horses!
They had a lovely bay mare called Willow who was so patient and sweet. The rolling green hills of the Midlands are a sight to behold, you really do need to experience it. Willow and I, we made a great team, we even went galloping through fields with the wind in our hair. I must say, horseback riding in a pink tutu is surprisingly freeing.
On my way back to Derbyshire, I couldn't resist making a pitstop in a charming antique shop I found along the way. You wouldn’t believe the vintage treasures I discovered! I got a gorgeous pair of sparkling earrings, the perfect touch to add a little extra glimmer to my usual outfit. The shop owner even told me a sweet little story about the history of each piece - a real delight.
I always say, travelling is a must-do, especially if you love tutus like me. It's about seeing the world, meeting new people, and sharing a bit of your sparkle with others. And in Coalville, I found exactly that, a vibrant and welcoming community, ready to embrace a pink-tutu-clad wonder. I truly had the most wonderful time!
So my darlings, make sure to follow Pink Tutu Sparkles for your daily dose of joy and fashion inspiration, and remember, always keep that inner spark alive! And never, ever be afraid to wear a pink tutu. Who knows where it might take you?!
Until next time,
Pink Tutu Sparkles
