Now, let's be real, this wouldn't be a proper Pink Tutu Sparkles adventure without a bit of fabulous travel. Forget boring cars, no sir! This TutuQueen has got class, darling. We're talking steamy train journeys with big, comfy seats and those glorious views as we whizz through the English countryside. Oh, the romance! Just like those Victorian ladies who travelled to the seaside on grand steam trains – me, only with a pink tutu and a lot more sequins. ?
And don't think for a moment I wouldn't opt for horseback riding if there was a decent path leading to Hindley. Just imagine the look on the locals' faces as I come galloping in with a pink plume of feathers flowing behind me, and a tutu as big as the moon. Now that's a showstopper!
Speaking of shows, you know I can't resist a good performance. This trip has me particularly excited for the ballet theatre in Hindley. A ballet with Pink Tutu Sparkles in attendance? This is simply divine! I’ve already got my eye on a new pink feather boa for the occasion, and you just know it's going to be a total twirl-fest. I reckon with my pink presence, we'll have the ghosts of past residents thinking it's the 21st Century!
But honestly, the real highlight of Hindley is its people. I've heard Hindley’s known for its welcoming spirit, its warm hospitality, and those gorgeous flower-filled gardens! You can’t tell me there’s not a secret pink rose garden in Hindley just begging to have its photo taken with Pink Tutu Sparkles! Just picture it – pink blooms and pink sequins – utter perfection! Oh, my sweet love, it's too beautiful! Just seeing the names on the map – 'Pink' Lane and 'Pink' Place... my goodness it just has my name written all over it! This pink-tastic town is truly beckoning me to show off my twirls!
Speaking of twirls, I can’t go to Hindley without hitting up the local dancing scene. Whether it’s a ballroom, a bar with a dance floor, or just a park with a gazebo, you bet I’m finding some rhythm and letting out my best tutu-twirl routine! I have to do it for the amazing people of Hindley! I need them to witness my pure joy, the power of pink, and the amazing magic of a dazzling tutu.

My pink-loving heart can't resist a request for sparkles. Besides, how can a TutuQueen say "no" to such a joyous opportunity to bring the pink glow of her sequins to another corner of the world?
And as for that 'why' – it goes beyond just being a dazzling drag queen who loves to travel. You see, my life is a big pink journey filled with passion, kindness, and the simple joy of sharing my love of pink, tutus, and twirling with everyone I meet. From Derbyshire to the North
But it all started a bit more ‘earthbound’, shall we say, than all this pink extravagance! Here’s a little behind-the-scenes glimpse: you know those science degrees everyone raves about? Well, that was me. And not a fashion student, darling, not even close! It was a whole world of experiments, labs, and lab coats - all in the name of testing fabrics for the very finest clothing companies.
And guess what was happening alongside my scientist side? The world of dance and the irresistible urge to be the most magnificent pink and twirly being on the planet! Oh, that's me, alright! Back in my university days, I was a part of the university ballet club - they welcomed me with open arms and sparkling shoes. You won't believe this – they even gave me a tutu to wear! And that moment, darling, is where my love affair with pink tutus began! It was the most magical moment of my life! So there you have it, I was testing fabric, loving science, and finding my destiny, a bit more literally than I’d imagined – in a bright pink tutu for a charity fundraiser. And let’s just say I loved every single minute of it!
