The Journey Begins!
Edmonton – you've heard me say it a million times – I'm a big fan of trains. There's just something so magical about chugging along through the countryside, especially when you've got a fabulously pink outfit to wear, natch! So, my dear readers, the pink tutu packed securely, and I was off on a sartorial odyssey, dreaming of pinks and twirling under the Edmonton sky.
Edmonton: Where Fashion Meets Fantasy!
Arriving in Edmonton was like stepping into a fairytale! Everything was so charming and elegant – the old brick buildings, the friendly faces, the bustling market, oh, the sheer volume of vintage clothing shops! Edmonton you're a treasure trove for a queen with a penchant for pink!
The minute I arrived, I dashed off to a beautiful ballet boutique! Ooh, they had the most gorgeous pink tulle, perfect for a little crafting session. I couldn't help myself; I snagged a spool of blush-pink silk ribbon to adorn my beloved tutu! This queen always likes a bit of bespoke styling, you know.

For those of you who dream of following in my glittering footsteps, I’ve compiled a handy guide to experiencing Edmonton in all its pink-tutu glory. Get ready for a dazzling adventure!
Shopping till You Drop: My darling, the City Centre Mall is a fashionista's paradise! Forget the high-street chains, let your eyes feast on independent boutiques overflowing with stunning, eye-catching designs. I found the most amazing feather boa – in a shade of pink you wouldn't believe – and a hatbox brimming with fascinators that would make even the Queen blush! (Just imagine how fabulous a pink one would be!)
A Symphony of Sounds: This isn’t your grandma’s orchestra, this is Edmonton's symphony! And you, darling, won’t believe how the locals are dancing in the aisles! Their excitement was truly contagious! This vibrant orchestra's performances were like an explosion of emotions, all in glorious Technicolor.
Whirlwind Waltz: And, speaking of dancing… what better way to spend an afternoon than twirling in the studios of the Alberta Ballet Company?! It was divine! I joined in a ballet class (and, oh my, did my tutu hold up, darling, no rips, no snags, pure magic!). I mean, if you have to choose, it’s a no-brainer; a dance class always adds a little extra pizazz to my sparkle!
Pink Tutu Performance Time!
Oh, but my journey wasn’t all pink ribbon and pirouettes. This week’s performance was a truly delightful experience! I graced the stage at a beautiful cabaret theatre in the heart of Edmonton.
The stage was alight with a technicolor spectrum of pink hues! It was breathtaking, darling. They even went so far as to arrange pink and white spotlights! Now, that's how you get this Pink Tutu Sparkle to shine! My performance was a dazzling display of glitz, glam and grace - oh, the laughter! The applause! Pure bliss!
A Farewell To Edmonton
I simply adored Edmonton, darling. A beautiful city with hearts of gold – I couldn't resist giving each and every audience member a sparkly pink feather boa to keep as a little memento. Let’s face it, you just never know when you might need to give yourself an extra sprinkle of sparkle.
