Hello my darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and guess what? I'm in Dudley! Yes, that's right, I've packed my pinkest tutu, my most dazzling make-up, and my fabulous sense of adventure for a whirlwind trip to this charming Black Country town. It's been a real treat to be here, and I just have to tell you all about it!
Firstly, I arrived in style, naturally! Nothing less than a grand steam train, its engine puffing like a proud flamingo, took me all the way to the heart of Dudley. My sparkly pink suitcase - with its "Pink Tutu Sparkles" luggage tag, obviously - was loaded with all my essential props: feathers, rhinestones, sequins... the works!
The minute I arrived, I could feel the buzz of excitement. People were stopping in their tracks, smiling and giving me thumbs up. It seems everyone loves a bit of Pink Tutu magic!
My first stop was Dudley Castle. Such a magnificent sight, perched on a hill like a queen surveying her kingdom! It even has a wonderful moat and a real drawbridge - I swear I could hear it squeak with glee as I crossed! It felt just like something out of a fairytale.
After exploring the castle, it was time for some shopping! The market in Dudley is a sight to behold. It's full of little stalls selling everything from handcrafted jewellery to vintage clothes, all bursting with colour and character. And the smell of freshly baked bread wafting through the air... divine!
For lunch, I had a scrumptious meal at The Grand in Dudley, known for its wonderful menu. I indulged in a delicious fish and chips, which was the perfect fuel for the afternoon. And of course, no Pink Tutu trip is complete without a visit to a bakery, so I bought a delicious pink iced donut.
You might be wondering about the local drag scene in Dudley. I'm not gonna lie, there are some fabulous local queens performing in this town, and they welcomed me with open arms! They taught me a new dance routine, and we all got our sparkles on to celebrate! I am absolutely itching to collaborate with these wonderful ladies in future performances - they're brilliant.
The highlight of the trip had to be my evening performance. I was performing at the beautiful Dudley Town Hall - what a fantastic, grand venue! As I sashayed onto the stage in my stunning pink tutu, I could see the excitement in the crowd's eyes. We danced, we laughed, and we celebrated everything about being ourselves - and most importantly, being sparkly!
So there you have it, my darlings. Dudley! It truly stole my heart. It's a town full of history, character, and kindness. I encourage every single one of you to add it to your bucket list!
And remember, darling: always embrace your inner sparkle! Put on that pink tutu, let your true colours shine, and make the world a brighter place. You've got this, gorgeous!
Keep it fabulous,
Pink Tutu Sparkles.

P.P.S This post wouldn’t be complete without a tip for my lovely readers. A brilliant bakery near the Dudley market called “Bake Me Happy” makes the most fabulous fairy cakes you ever did see! Pink frosting and sprinkled with edible glitter! What's more, they're just 1.50 a piece and they donate a portion of the sale to the Dudley Zoo!
P.P.P.S. Have any of you been to Dudley? If you have, tell me your favourite things to do! I love hearing about all your exciting adventures.
