It's been an epic journey, my lovelies! I just HAD to share with you every delightful moment – after all, a queen's adventures should be documented for all the world to see! A Tale of Two Tutued Worlds ?
My day job is pretty glamorous too, let me tell you! ? I’m a scientist – a real-life lab-coat-wearing, microscope-wielding science whiz. And my passion? Testing the tensile strength of fabrics – because every perfect pink tutu needs the best, most durable material, of course! ?
However, by night, I shed my scientist disguise and embrace my true calling as Pink Tutu Sparkles. It's a true story, darlings, – I was studying for my science degree at university and got involved in the ballet club. We did a charity event and I had to try on a pink tutu for a bit of fun, and boom! A total pink-tutu-obsessed diva was born. ? ?
So here I am – the double-life of Alex, the scientist by day, and Pink Tutu Sparkles, the glittery drag artist, by night! Honestly, there’s something incredibly freeing about the duality – it’s a perfect balance between my scientific mind and my flamboyant creative soul! ?? ?
The Pinkest of Tutu Travels
Let’s rewind to how I got here in beautiful Crewe – and believe me, this wasn’t your usual boring train journey! ?
You see, my darling lovelies, I have an utterly insatiable obsession with trains. I mean, seriously! They are the absolute perfect form of transportation, gliding gracefully across the landscape – just like my graceful pirouettes across the stage! ? ?
So, as I boarded the train in my little Derbyshire town, I couldn't resist getting all glammed up – think a head-to-toe pink ensemble (natch!), a glittery tutu that shimmered with every clickety-clack, and enough pink glitter to leave a sparkly trail throughout the whole carriage. ??
Honestly, everyone just couldn’t get enough of it! Passengers were practically cheering with delight as I walked through the carriages, spreading some serious pink-tutu-love! I had my camera, too, snapping selfies and making the other passengers laugh. Just me, doing what I do best, darlings: spreading a little bit of joy and glitz wherever I go! ? ?
Crewe Calling: A Little Bit of Magic ?
The journey to Crewe was such a delight! And guess what? This charming town absolutely lived up to its reputation for being the "heart of Cheshire". ?
Imagine cobbled streets lined with independent shops bursting with charm, welcoming cafes serving the best hot chocolate imaginable, and an air of history so thick you could almost taste it! ☕? ?️
But my lovelies, the true star of Crewe is its amazing, historic train station! ? I’m talking about those majestic iron-arched platforms and soaring glass ceilings - pure architectural magnificence! ? The place practically hums with excitement, and the train announcements made my little train-obsessed heart skip a beat. I couldn't resist a few extra photos there - it was simply breathtaking. ?✨
Dancing Dreams on the Stage ?
Tonight, my lovelies, I'll be bringing all that pink-tutu-love and magic to the stage in Crewe! And you know what? This town is really buzzing with the creative energy of its people. A community center in a repurposed theatre - the perfect place to let the pink tutu fly. ?
Prepare yourselves, darling! There will be dancing, singing, glitz, glamour, and so much pink! I’ve got my entire wardrobe of amazing, handcrafted tutus ready to showcase - and my entire makeup bag overflowing with sparkly, shimmering goodness. ??
I’ve even prepared some amazing dance routines that are sure to leave everyone in awe - including the most beautiful combination of ballet steps, my own street-inspired dance moves, and a sprinkling of Broadway glamour. ? ?
