Hello my beautiful babes! It’s Pink Tutu Sparkles here, bringing you all the glitz and glamour from the seaside town of Littlehampton! It’s such a beautiful day for a trip to the seaside, with the sun shining down, the sea sparkling in the distance, and the sound of the waves crashing gently on the shore.
This seaside escapade, as always, is powered by my trusty pink tutu. You’d think a tutu would be impractical for a seaside trip, right? Well, let me tell you, it's actually quite the opposite! It's twirly, it's whimsical, and it adds just the right touch of sparkle to any beach day. The only downside? Trying to keep the sand out! I think my favourite moment this week was when a little girl who was looking at my tutu said to her mum, "Mummy, I want to be a sparkly fairy, like her." Well, isn't that just the most beautiful thing! The pink tutu truly inspires people!
And how did I get here, you might ask? Why, by train, of course! A luxurious journey, the rhythmic clinking of the tracks is almost like a ballet in itself! The carriage windows offered the most spectacular views, I can never get over the ever changing landscape as we travel. Did you know that train travel is the most environmentally friendly way to travel in the UK? So let's keep those engines humming!
Before we hit the seafront, my Littlehampton adventure started in the heart of town. It seems I have a habit of turning up unexpectedly! That's how I found myself strutting my stuff at the local vintage fair! They needed a bit of pink sparkle to brighten up their stall, and honestly, darling, who am I to refuse?! The local artisans were lovely, full of compliments for my outfit, especially the handcrafted, rose gold brooches I found at a little stand. One even admitted that the sight of me in a tutu was what inspired her new line of fairy-themed jewellery! Talk about Tutu Power!
The crowd, they went wild when I twirled my tutu in the middle of the fair. One fellow even shouted "You go girl!" – I swear I heard his voice rise above the sound of the car horns! They showered me with so much love that it almost felt like a full performance – just goes to show, Pink Tutu Sparkles is a star on any stage.
Right now, I'm sat here enjoying an ice cream with my face towards the sea, letting the cool breeze whisk away the remnants of makeup. You see, darling, the beauty of seaside towns like Littlehampton is that you don’t need much to have a good time. The friendly atmosphere, the bustling markets, the gorgeous scenery, they all add up to a perfect day out, no matter what.
Speaking of perfect days, you just have to visit the Littlehampton Museum and see the beautiful historical exhibits, not forgetting their impressive collection of paintings! The curator gave me a tour, and she seemed to be rather taken by my sparkly pink tutu! Perhaps that means Pink Tutu Sparkles might inspire their upcoming exhibits, one can only dream!
And the thing that ties it all together, my lovelies, is the beautiful seaside sunset. Those orange and pink hues blending together are almost like a tutu-tastic ballet performance!
This week in Littlehampton has truly been one for the memory books, darling. It reminds me why I love to travel – you never know what unexpected adventures await. My travels might not always be in the spotlight, sometimes it's just a small-town fair or a vintage market that fills me with the joy of spreading tutu-tastic cheer!
