Chichester: Tutu Time in Sussex! ??

Hello, darlings! It’s your Tutu Queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! ?

This is post number 10024 – I’m keeping track of them all for you, just like I keep track of the perfect pink tutu for every occasion. ? Today I'm bubbling over with excitement to share my latest adventure!

My train journey from Derbyshire was positively delightful – the rolling green fields were like a scene from a Jane Austen novel! I can never resist gazing out the window, enjoying the English countryside and planning out my next pink tutu outfit. You can never have too much tulle, darlings, and this trip called for a special touch – a twirling, shimmery, triple-layered confection of a tutu. It wouldn’t be a proper Pink Tutu Sparkles adventure without a little sparkle, now, would it? ?

I was off to the stunning town of Chichester in West Sussex. A little birdie told me about a fabulous new ballet boutique that's just opened up – you can be sure I’ll be posting a full review on the Pink-Tutu.com website! After all, what’s a trip without a little ballet, darlings? The stage calls, the tutu beckons, and I'm always ready to answer!

Of course, I had a little time to explore Chichester first, soaking up the local charm and finding the most perfect café for my afternoon tea (and the perfect pink tutu-worthy outfit). Let’s just say, my love for a good cream tea runs almost as deep as my love for all things pink. ?

There are just so many things to love about Chichester – its historical charm, its elegant cobblestone streets, and the beautiful cathedral which is an architectural masterpiece. I was practically hopping and twirling through the cobblestones, feeling like a ballet dancer in my own personal fairytale. It felt so wonderful to be exploring this gorgeous part of England in the sunshine, and with a little added sparkle!

The pièce de résistance was my evening performance at a charming local pub called “The Golden Goose.” It wasn’t a conventional drag stage, but they welcomed me with open arms (and lots of eager applause!) Turns out, the audience wasn’t just here for the music. There were some real die-hard tutu enthusiasts, they’d heard all about my drag, and, after watching my show, some of the lads were asking to try on a pink tutu! They seemed to love the concept! One guy even confided that he always dreamt of becoming a ballet dancer as a boy but, well, let’s just say it didn’t quite go according to plan! ?

Of course, it wasn't just about me! There’s a whole new wave of amazing performers on the circuit. A few fabulous new faces who brought the heat and the glamour! There was this amazing new queen, who looked simply stunning in a full-length sequined dress – truly spectacular. We even swapped stories and dance moves (with a bit of sassy attitude thrown in for good measure!), bonding over our mutual love for the spotlight and our obsession with sparkles. It's great to see more queens rocking the scene with creativity and confidence. It's a sisterhood, darlings! ?

It was all very heart-warming. My show wasn't just a performance, it was an explosion of joy, colour, and tutus! It felt magical. The pub was abuzz with laughter and clapping, and I truly believe that the world needs more of that, don't you agree?

The journey back to Derbyshire was even more inspiring as I had the chance to chat with a couple who were captivated by my show and shared my love for the world of dance and performance. One of them, a talented local artist, is already making some stunning jewellery for my upcoming performances. Who knew I'd find a partner in creativity on the train to Derby! I simply couldn't have asked for a more fulfilling and tutu-tastic adventure.

Oh, and a little secret I’m ready to share with all you beautiful darlings – I just know this weekend is the start of something exciting! I have this hunch that something amazing is about to blossom, and it’s all going to be pink and sparkly! Just wait till you hear about the project I’m working on! I promise it’s a bit of magic you won’t want to miss!

And before I let you go, darlings, please tell me – what are your thoughts on the perfect pink tutu? Should it be fluffy and voluminous? Or something with more elegance and refinement? Share your thoughts in the comments below! Remember, don’t be afraid to rock that tutu, because everyone can wear one! ?

Till next time, darling! ?

P.S. Keep an eye out for a fabulous surprise on Pink-Tutu.com very soon! This is a project I’m thrilled to share with all of you. ?
