Farnworth, you may be thinking, “Where on earth is that?” Well, my lovely lot, it’s a little gem nestled in Greater Manchester. You’ve got your charming town centres, a smattering of fab pubs and restaurants, and… drumroll please… a beautiful theatre! I’ve got my sights set on seeing a production of “Swan Lake” there, and let me tell you, I can't wait to get all those graceful moves and swan-like postures ingrained into my brain. After all, I might just need a few of those ballerina moves for my next drag routine, wouldn't you agree? ?
Now, I know you all are thinking “Pink Tutu Sparkles, how did you get to Farnworth? Did you hitch a ride on a pink unicorn? Or perhaps fly on the wings of a shimmering flamingo?" ? Well, this time around, I've opted for a classic. You've guessed it, the train! It's such a relaxing way to travel, especially with my nose stuck in a good book or my trusty sewing machine getting my latest sparkly creation ready for the stage. Besides, I'm just a big kid at heart who loves a good train journey! (And don’t even get me started on how fun it is to pack your trusty travel tutu!)
Speaking of tutus, my love affair with these fluffy pink wonders is what sparked my journey as Pink Tutu Sparkles! Remember those days back in university when I was a total science nerd, mixing chemicals and dissecting frogs? (Just kidding, it wasn't quite that extreme.) But, when I joined the university ballet club for a bit of fun and a good giggle, that was the moment I slipped into a tutu, and let me tell you… it changed everything! Suddenly, science was no longer my be-all and end-all. I was a tutu-wearing ballerina, twirling my way through life, and that's when my love for all things glittery, pink, and fabulous was truly ignited. Now, by day, I'm back in my lab, mixing potions…err, I mean fabrics, and by night, I'm ready to "tutu-tally" sparkle the stage. ✨
Oh, speaking of the stage, let's not forget my Farnworth gigs! Yes, my dear, you heard right. I’m bringing my brand of pink-tastic drag to a local fairground – complete with confetti cannons, shimmering outfits, and a dance routine that’ll have everyone singing along! Because the joy of sharing a giggle, a sparkle, and a good ol' fashion singalong with you fabulous folks? Now that's what I call living the dream.
