First, I treated myself to a delicious picnic lunch at the Botanic Gardens. Let’s be honest, a tutu is a necessity when trying to out-twirl the daffodils. The day ended with a walk along the promenade, watching the sunset cast golden hues over the sea. I had a delightful chat with a group of children, who declared my tutu the “best one ever,” and, as an extra treat, they even offered me a handful of seaside pebbles -apparently, the sea-polished rocks were meant to attract good luck and, of course, fabulous tutus!
