My day started bright and early (a true rarity, I know, but a tutu-filled adventure calls for all the energy you can muster!), with a quick coffee and an even quicker scroll through my Instagram feed to check out all the #tututuesday looks. This is a seriously fierce community of tutu enthusiasts, let me tell ya!
I mean, some of the tutu styles out there were absolute fire. From classic, full-length tutus with dramatic, billowing layers to sassy, short tutus with playful ruffles, each tutu told a story - a story of playful confidence, vibrant expression, and pure, unadulterated tutu love. There were even a few unicorn-themed tutus that stole my breath away – a touch of magic mixed with a dash of shimmery pink? You’re talking a look straight outta my dreams, babes!
Now, as a ballet dancer who lives and breathes for tutus, I had to make sure my Tutu Tuesday ensemble was a real showstopper. But the highlight of my Tutu Tuesday adventure? You bet it was the grand parade! Imagine, if you will, a sea of brightly coloured tutus swirling in perfect harmony to the beat of a vibrant disco anthem. People from all ages, shapes and sizes, were dancing, twirling and letting their inner unicorns soar! I was right in the thick of it, twirling and laughing with the best of ‘em! We were a dazzling spectacle of glittery joy, spreading nothing but love, sunshine, and a whole lotta twirling!
Bridgwater's Tutu Tuesday wasn’t just a parade; it was a community coming together in a beautiful, colourful explosion of happiness. And yes, it absolutely reinforced my love for tutus, unicorns, and everything sparkly in this beautiful world!
