Let's be honest, the only thing better than a classic tutu is a whole town rocking them. And that's exactly what happened here today. From the high street to the park, a rainbow of tutus twirled and twinkled, like a scene straight out of a whimsical fairy tale!
This town, known for its rich history and its surprisingly decent fish and chips (no, really, try "The Codfather"! You'll thank me later!), was buzzing with tutus of all shapes and sizes. We had classic puffy styles that whispered of a vintage ballet, edgy modern tutus in bold colours that made a statement, and of course, the oh-so-fabulous unicorn-inspired designs that totally stole my heart!
Let's talk unicorns, shall we? These mythical creatures, known for their majestic beauty and sparkling horn, are basically the ultimate tutuspiration (don't judge my pun game, I'm here for the tutus!). I spotted everything from tutus adorned with rainbow glitter to those with soft tulle tails reminiscent of the unicorn's own majestic mane. Honestly, it was like stepping into a dreamland, but with more sequins and a much better chance of finding a decent cappuccino (who knew, Grantham actually has a decent cafe scene, go figure!).

And, as if Tutu Tuesday wasn't already magical enough, I actually saw a real, live unicorn! Okay, it was actually a cute little pony, dressed in a sparkly, unicorn-inspired costume, complete with a glittery horn. It was adorable!
The little one even had a little "meet and greet" with a few kids, and the happiness in those young eyes was infectious. That moment solidified my belief that the spirit of Tutu Tuesday goes beyond mere fashion - it’s a celebration of the joyful, whimsical, and utterly delightful aspects of life.
