Hello, my fellow tutu enthusiasts! It's your girl, Maisie, back with another instalment of Tutu Tuesday. And this week, let me tell you, we’re bringing the sparkle, the sunshine, and yes, you guessed it… unicorns! Because, what’s more fabulous than a pink tulle tutu and a majestic unicorn, right? 😉
This week, I’m reporting from the heart of Urmston, a little corner of Greater Manchester that's got some seriously fab style going on. The sun’s shining, the birds are singing, and even the pigeons seem to be wearing little feathered boas – well, maybe not quite that extra, but the atmosphere's definitely got a bit of a flamboyant twist. It's officially tutu weather, darling, and the people of Urmston are definitely not letting the glorious sunshine go to waste!
First off, let's talk about the tutus. We saw a rainbow of colours, but naturally, I gravitated towards the pinks. We've got our classic pastel pinks, of course, with fluffy, voluminous tutus that would make even the most dedicated ballerina weep with joy. They looked incredible flowing in the breeze!
Then we’ve got some bold hot pink stunners - a true statement piece if you're looking to make a dramatic entrance. These are the tutus for a "look at me, I’m fabulous" type of vibe - you know, the kind of strut that makes everyone turn their heads! Speaking of struts, we even had some girls rocking bright pink tutus with metallic accents – absolutely dazzling in the sunshine! And what’s a tutu party without some sequined tutus? These little numbers are definitely taking tutu trends to the next level. Glitzy, shimmering, and fabulous, I swear they almost outshone the sun!
But the pièce de résistance, the star of the show, the absolute game-changer, were the unicorn tutus! These magical creations were adorned with everything a unicorn could desire: rainbows, glitter, silver, gold… even some sparkle dust I swear I saw sprinkled on one. I kid you not, I had to pull out my phone and get some quick snaps – you just don’t see that kind of enchantment every day! The people of Urmston truly understood the assignment and went full-blown unicorn heaven, and honestly? I applaud them. It was utterly delightful!
This tutu-tastic scene in Urmston wasn’t just about fashion though, it was all about the fun! People were smiling, chatting, laughing, and dancing (naturally, disco was on the playlist - no surprises there! ) - You could just feel the infectious good vibes as we all celebrated a little dose of magic.

It's a reminder that a little bit of extra, a dash of whimsy, a sprinkle of sparkle, can turn any ordinary day into an unforgettable celebration.
