Worthing’s Tutu Tuesday: A Celebration of Pink, Sequins and Disco Dolphins! #tututuesday
So, Worthing. What can I say? You've definitely got a reputation. Let’s face it, everyone’s a little bit scared of this Sussex seaside town. "Too quiet!" people say, “Too much seaside!” “Too many retirees and no vibe!" Yeah, I know, I know… But this is why you need to hold on to your tutu and take a closer look. Because this week, I’m showing you why Worthing is going to be your new favourite town!
If you’re anything like me, you’ve got the most insane need to do things differently, take your ballet classes with an extra twirl, live a bit on the wild side – well, Worthing’s got you! Last week was like stepping back in time - it’s just had the sweetest and most beautiful and glamorous Tutu Tuesday that everyone was buzzing about.
Let me set the scene. Picture it: the sea, a beautiful beach, a warm sunshine, a big beach hut in Worthing's colourful little seaside parade. Now imagine a load of bright, fun people wearing pink, sparkly tutus, dancing around like you wouldn't believe and enjoying some serious fun in the sun. That's exactly what we saw, and it was beyond a delight.

I got my pink tutu - I am the biggest pink lover and the bigger a tutu the better for me - with lots of layers and ruffles (always, always the ruffles) so that it flowed perfectly when I was dancing to all the best tunes from the 70s - you can't get enough disco! I put on some pink lipgloss – just a touch! - and it was a whole vibe. This year, Worthing's been doing a super cute beach mural and beach art. And guess what they did? Yes, they've made this massive inflatable dolphin in disco lights - you've gotta see it! - which just makes the whole place that extra bit fabulous and totally worthy of a proper #tututuesday.
I spotted the most adorable bunch of ballet teachers who got the vibe, too! They came to Worthing to lead the dance lesson with a mix of proper ballet techniques (a little plie here and there) with a healthy dose of freestyle. Then we got to have some awesome drinks - and that, folks, was when it REALLY started getting good. I loved watching everyone enjoying themselves and laughing their heads off, dancing in all those colorful tutus. That's how you know you've landed on a good one - the contagious laughter, and that's a big Worthing plus for sure.

- **Worthing Beach, in its purest, most beautiful form.** It's like everything came together - sunshine, good vibes, dancing, and all the laughter. You couldn’t ask for more.

It was amazing to witness everyone getting involved, no matter who they were or where they were from. So, come to Worthing - if you’re bold enough – for #tututuesday.
