My love for tutus began when I was about 8, a classic "Misty Copland" in white - you know the type, short, poofy and, let's just say, a tad bit 'blah'. However, the world of the tutu is bursting with new styles these days. You have everything from classic to modern to even goth, the options are practically endless!
We're talking all kinds of tutu styles. Imagine this:
- Floor-length tutus are making a comeback, creating a sleek, graceful look. These dramatic creations offer the perfect blend of elegance and edge.

It was just electric, that’s what it was. Everyone dressed in dazzling sparkly dresses and glittering shoes – there was such an amazing buzz of excitement, with so much positivity and enthusiasm for everything to do with the night. There were groups of girls dancing on the streets. Everyone was so up for a great night! #discodolphin
A live band and disco DJs kept the party flowing through the night. But it wasn’t just a dance floor, oh no! There was a whole marketplace with independent makers selling clothes, accessories and homeware and some beautiful artisan cakes and artisan crafts.
Salford has always been a vibrant place. With this incredible turnout, I’m not surprised that people in Salford are already talking about the next Tutu Tuesday! So watch out, everyone else... we're just getting started. Tutu Tuesday isn't just a night, it's a movement.
