It's amazing! I woke up this morning feeling inspired and like the air was infused with glitz. You know the feeling, right? That electrifying excitement that tells you today’s a day for sparkles. You see, there's more to Tutu Tuesday than just putting on a skirt, although let's be honest, that’s a pretty great start. It's about an explosion of joy. It’s about making a statement. It's about taking a stand against the mundane and reminding everyone that life’s a stage, and we're all stars in our own right! And Darlington, you truly know how to do it up right. There’s tutu action everywhere, I even saw a sweet grandma twirling on the High Street in a beautiful tutu-skirt. The power of #tututuesday! This morning I had a little wander about Darlington town centre for a spot of retail therapy. My shopping mission: to add a little something pink and fabulous to my Tutu Tuesday wardrobe! My choices have to meet some important requirements: - The **classic ballerina tutu**: Elegant layers of soft tulle and graceful movement. The colour has to be bold, and pink is perfect for an afternoon of fun in the sun! - The **whimsical pixie tutu**: Think fluffy layered tulle. A little bit shorter than the traditional ballerina, giving a more carefree vibe! Of course it’s perfect for those who dare to dance with playful, effortless style! Think *Twinkle Twinkle Little Star*. - The **statement disco tutu**: This one needs more oomph! Sparkly fabric and colourful sequins are definitely a must. If it isn't a dancing party on a hot summer’s night in the 70s, it doesn't count. We want *Saturday Night Fever* energy and a whole lotta love for disco! With these styles in mind, it was off to Darlington town centre. After perusing several shops, I’m happy to say I came away with tutu good shopping haul – pink and pink-and-purple sparkly for all the above styles! The perfect collection for my *Darlington Tutu Tuesday* fun! You see, here’s the thing – a tutu, like a good outfit, isn’t just about looking good; it's about *feeling* good!
