Catford’s Tutu Tuesday: A Night of Sequins and Disco Dolphins
Catford, my friends, has finally embraced its inner glitter ball and joined the world of Tutu Tuesday! Now, you may be thinking: “Catford? But that’s just the place with the massive ASDA…what’s the deal?” Well, my loves, let me tell you: Tuesday nights just got a whole lot more fabulous. And let's be real, who wouldn't want to dance the night away in a perfectly twirled, sequined tutu? It's like a giant pink fluffy cloud, but way more fun. (And definitely way more practical for impromptu leaps and twirls!).
The Pink Paradise
This week’s #tututuesday took place at the new bar, The Flamingo, and let me tell you, the decor was pure disco heaven. Pink booths, glittering chandeliers, and even a shimmering ball pit for those brave enough to plunge in. It was all I'd ever wanted and more. (Plus, can we talk about the incredible playlist?! ABBA, Donna Summer, Bee Gees…my ears were in seventh heaven.)
Disco Dolphins
And the highlight of the evening, without a doubt, was the #discodolphin disco ball! A massive, glowing dolphin twirling amidst a cascade of silver lights… It was an epic disco fever dream, and I'm not just saying that because my favourite animal is a dolphin (shh, don't tell anyone).

Speaking of tutus, the outfits were all levels of fabulous. We saw a stunning array of styles, from classic, full-length, ballerina tutus to fun, short, sparkly creations that were all about embracing the sassy and whimsical. My personal favorite? A bold, pink tutu with a sequinned rainbow motif, paired with a shimmery top and dazzling gold heels.
