Tutu Tuesday in Worthing: Disco Fever Hits the Coast
Hello my lovelies! It’s your girl, Chloe here, and I’m buzzing with excitement as I’m back with another fabulous post on Tutu Tuesday! I know you all have the same insatiable love of twirling as I do, so let’s dive headfirst into a day filled with sparkle and all things disco. After all, when it comes to Tutu Tuesday, bigger is always better. This week, Worthing became the hub of disco energy with my latest #tututuesday adventure, and let me tell you, it was utterly brilliant!
I’m on a mission to bring the #tututuesday energy to every town and city across the country, and I reckon there’s no place quite like Worthing to set off that disco-powered vibe. The stunning seafront and the lovely promenade already offer that perfect retro-glam backdrop. Throw in the sun shining off the sea (don’t tell anyone, but there was even a bit of sunshine this week), and you've got the makings of a true vintage dance floor, baby!
As a fellow #tututuesday warrior and passionate twirler, I thought this town was screaming for a splash of vibrant colour and glitter. The town folk just couldn’t help but be sucked into the swirl of #tututuesday - they absolutely nailed the look and, honestly, I don’t think I’ve seen more smiling faces! And don’t even get me started on the outfits...
You know I’m a big fan of colour. Don't even get me started on the hot pink! The iconic tutu - it’s got the power to transport us all back to our childhood memories of ballet class. This week in Worthing, I saw all kinds of variations - short, fluffy and bold in a million different colours! Imagine: shimmering hot pink layered with swathes of shimmering yellow, a tutu bursting with pink that looked like a fluffy candy floss explosion - this week the pink, just took over. It’s a shade that’s always in style. It’s just a little piece of glamour, perfect for this #tututuesday.
Worthing embraced the glitter
My biggest wish is for the magic of tutu Tuesday to reach the whole town! Worthing was alive with disco cheer!
* I spotted the cutest little boy with a glittery, black tutu. He was rocking a "Funky Monkey" style t-shirt! The ultimate disco kid!
* An elegant grandma sporting a dazzling lavender tutu that perfectly complimented the warm sun. I think it made her look fabulous! She was totally vibing!
* A little bit further down the prom, I saw a girl with an absolutely stunning, full tutu, totally rocking it and her confidence and her disco vibes were magnetic!
And then there was the #discosnail - It just keeps happening. This creature – well, it’s actually an actual, giant snail. Covered in sparkle, it has the energy to get the disco party going, and what’s more, it was looking for a tutu of its own, don't you worry I gave it one! I saw a few little ones doing the "snail disco." I am sure it gave Worthing that little bit extra magic.
