Tottenham Tutu Tuesday - It’s all about the tutus! #tututuesday
Hey darlings! So, I'm obsessed with Tutu Tuesdays. It’s the one day I can ditch my sensible, adult life and let my inner ballerina shine! This Tuesday I headed to Tottenham for a Tutu Tuesday extravaganza, and it was AMAZING. I felt like I was on the set of a disco movie!
Before I tell you about it, a bit about tutus – who doesn’t love a tutu? They come in so many different styles – we’ve got our romantic tulle, our glamorous taffeta, and let’s not forget the iconic poufy, multi-layered style from those amazing old school ballet videos!
I’m a pink-loving girl, so my outfit had to be super pink, with a disco vibe, I mean, come on, how could you not dance in something this fab?
But before we get into my outfit let’s go back to Tottenham... There was glitter everywhere, a real disco vibe with dancing and live music. Even the locals seemed to get into it! And the highlight of the day had to be the disco snail. I'm not sure how they trained him, but he was strutting his stuff to the beat, all in pink, naturally!
And let's not forget the AMAZING dance-off! The air was buzzing with excitement as the participants took to the floor, showing off their skills and their tutus! From sassy high kicks to graceful twirls, there were some seriously impressive moves. There was even a tutu limbo – who knew that tutus could get so low?! #discosnail
- Outfit: As I mentioned before, pink was the name of the game – My outfit was pretty sassy, too! My pick? A shimmering pink tulle tutu that just bounced with every move! I topped it off with a silver glitter disco top with sequined detail for that ultimate sparkle. I can't forget my white go-go boots – I felt so ready to take on the dance floor!
- Hair: My hair was a total statement – a chic high ponytail topped with a large pink bow. So glamorous! And of course, lots of hairspray. You gotta be prepared for anything at a tutu event, especially those twirls!
- Make-up: When it comes to Tutu Tuesdays, I love a dramatic makeup look! I went with winged eyeliner and glitter, adding some bright pink eye shadow and highlighter for a truly disco vibe.
