Tutu Tuesday in Crewe: Disco Dreams on the Streets Okay, darlings, grab your glitter and your dancing shoes because this Tuesday in Crewe was all about one thing: TUTUS! I'm talking full-on, fabulous, twirling-worthy tutus that would make even the most seasoned ballerina do a double take. As a ballet dancer who also happens to be a blogger with a serious passion for fashion, you can bet I was on the scene snapping pictures and soaking up the #Tutuesday vibes. It all started with the usual Tuesday morning routine - a quick scroll through Instagram, a cup of coffee, and then...BOOM! I saw a post from my friend, Chloe, who runs a fabulous vintage clothing shop right here in Crewe. The caption said "Tutu Tuesday at the shop," and a picture showed a table overflowing with all sorts of tutus, from the classic pale pink to funky bright colours with more sequins than you could shake a feather boa at. I knew I had to be there. The shop was buzzing, my lovelies. Every single person was dressed in some sort of tutu, and I'm talking some seriously stylish creations! Some had gone for the classic look โ€“ the perfect pink tulle, fitted at the waist with a flowy, twirly skirt. Others had embraced the trend with more outlandish options: bold yellow, electric blue, a shimmering turquoise tutu paired with a biker jacket and knee-high boots, and my personal favourite โ€“ a stunning black and silver tutu with a bold scarlet ribbon around the waist, it was an absolute showstopper! There was a great energy in the air โ€“ a feeling of fun, freedom, and fabulousness. And the music was just perfect - disco beats pumping through the speakers. You couldn't help but get caught up in the atmosphere and start dancing. Let me tell you, these Crewe girls know how to rock a tutu. I saw everything from the demure little "ballerina bun" to wild, voluminous "disco hair" and all of them rocking that "Tutu Tuesday" swagger with complete confidence. The "Disco Snail," as we call him, the cutest, most brightly painted snail in Crewe, was even spotted on a couple of tutus. He's become a true symbol of #Tutuesday. It wasn't just the clothing that made it so special โ€“ it was the community, the energy, and the shared love for everything tutu-tastic. There was something really special about seeing everyone, from teenagers to grannies, embracing their inner ballerina (and disco queen!). It reminded me why I love this town so much, and why the #Tutuesday trend is such a positive force. Whether you're into classic tutus, bright and bold options, or anything in between, one thing is certain: Tutu Tuesday is here to stay. Crewe has a way of taking things to the next level, and this town certainly has embraced the trend and turned it into something extraordinary. I for one, am loving it! Let me know in the comments โ€“ what's your favourite kind of tutu? Do you think you'll try rocking a tutu for a #Tutuesday, let's see it. See you all at the next one! #tututuesday #discotutu #Crewe #DiscoSnail
