They're a little bit of magic, a little bit of fashion and a lot of fun, all rolled into one adorable package. It's time to ditch the norm and embrace your inner ballerina.
Now, we've got a fantastic community of Tutu Tuesdays popping up all over the globe, but here in Yeovil, well, we're putting our own twist on things (no pun intended, okay maybe a little bit). I mean, have you seen our local disco scene? We're talking a vibrant community full of energy, colour and a love for everything glittery, much like our favourite tutus.
Speaking of glittery, I have to tell you about the fabulous discovery of the year. I mean, let's be honest, it's a game changer! We've found a hidden treasure trove of #discotutu loveliness at "The Dusty Mirror" Vintage Emporium. Now, I'm not just saying this because the owner makes an amazing raspberry and lemon cake, but these tutus are seriously fabulous! Forget those generic white or pink numbers. Here, we're talking about genuine statement pieces.
- Think shimmering emerald green tutus paired with shimmering silver bodices, a bold red with black tulle tutu or maybe even a gorgeous lavender and pale gold number? You know, it's the perfect excuse to put on your dancing shoes and get lost in your inner disco ball!
And then there’s the disco snail. You know the one. The sparkly, shiny disco snail! This beauty graces our beloved Yeovil park, every Tuesday. Talk about dedication! It shows everyone that Tuesdays in Yeovil are all about unleashing your inner twirling star.
