Every Tuesday, residents across Bridgwater (including yours truly) don their tutus, and I tell you, it's absolutely fabulous. Not me, for sure, but Tutu Tuesday does give you that extra reason to kick up your heels! Plus, let's be real - if a tutu isn't a conversation starter, then I don't know what is. This is why, my dears, it's not just about the tutu itself; it's about celebrating a moment of happiness, community, and sheer exuberance. And oh, that exuberance really is contagious, it truly is. Let's be honest, it doesn't matter if you've never touched a ballet shoe in your life! In fact, my dear readers, this is where I unleash a little bit of my fashionista expertise. Tutu style is all about that playful, adventurous, 'throw caution to the wind' energy! And, naturally, with this disco princess at the helm of things, I've even spotted a few sassy disco-inspired designs – perfect for channeling those fabulous 70s vibes! Even a couple of my colleagues came to join me, with their little ones who were, unsurprisingly, delighted to don the pink! I’ve even seen my granny on Tuesday’s twirling, and that is just fantastic. It's about creating that sense of joy and connection, even if it's just a few moments during the week! Oh, did I forget to mention our own, locally-beloved mascot? This delightful creature joins us for our regular #TutuTuesday Meet our little, sparkly pink-loving disco snail – “The Disco Snail” – this is our ultimate dance floor companion for a spot of impromptu twirling and dance moves! We just can’t seem to catch it on camera, it’s too quick and fast - always up for a bit of a flutter in its shimmering shell! If only I could show you all of it's sparkly energy, it’s certainly up for a bit of #DiscoTutu, you can definitely see how happy it makes people to be in this delightful company! And the best part is, no matter your style, our #disco snail always makes sure that every Tuesday, the party kicks off!
