Let’s be honest, Tuesdays aren't exactly renowned for their excitement. They’re the Wednesday that forgot how to get to the gym, the Friday that still needs a stiff drink… But here in Welling, Tuesdays have a completely different vibe. Tuesdays are for tutus. Okay, so it's a thing, you know? We're all about that tutu life here. It’s all part of our ongoing, super-fabulous #disco life in Welling. Our vibrant town has a real 'groovy' atmosphere with shops filled with disco balls, neon colours, and oh-so-much sequins! I mean, what else could be better? This town truly oozes with a joyous 70s-disco-vibe that just begs you to channel your inner Donna Summer! So yeah, #tututuesday was definitely on the cards here! A day to get creative with your tulle, unleash your inner ballerina, and embrace the glitz and glam that tutus represent! And let’s be honest, every woman wants a touch of magic in their week! So here's to Tuesdays! Let’s be real - Tuesday nights are notoriously un-exciting - work is done but the weekend feels so far away. And Welling? Welling is where Tuesdays get sassy, girlie, and downright awesome! Right, back to the tutu talk! There are so many amazing tutus that will bring a flash of vibrant fun to your week. A classic fluffy, powder pink, tiered, tutus would look incredible - and I'm absolutely dying to get my hands on a custom-made disco sequinned tutu - complete with sparkly glitter for a show-stopping, sparkly tutu with a big, billowing shape, I can see myself swishing my way down the street in a glitzy blur! So many tutu styles! My mind is just fizzing with pink-and-white fluffy ballerina ideas - but there are more daring styles like, sleek, shiny, red tutus - maybe with a pair of red leather boots… A bold choice, definitely sassy and edgy but absolutely fab! I might have to try that out one day... and, you can always choose the classic tutu that we all know and love, a sleek black tulle number! It’s chic, elegant, and a surefire winner. Okay, okay… it is tempting to go all out with the dramatic pouffy pink styles, but we do have a tutu rule - it's about looking cool, it's about keeping it chic! The tutu isn’t the statement piece, it’s a great way to add an extra something-something to any look. Tutus - we have embraced them and incorporated them in to all kinds of outfits! They're awesome with trainers, for an off-duty, sporty vibe or paired with some vintage loafers for a little quirky fun - but of course, we do also love to wear them with our beloved heels! I know what you’re thinking - a fabulous pair of Louboutins - it just gets my blood pumping! Oh, how a perfectly styled pair of skyscraper shoes and a full, glamorous tutu can lift you to another world... Here at Welling, it’s all about taking inspiration from our disco snail – that super-stylish shell-shocked, slow-moving wonder - we are keeping things colourful, playful and stylish and tutus are an essential part of the 'snail magic'.
