Highbury’s Tutu Tuesday – It’s Time to Get Your Sparkle On!
Oh my god, Highbury, you guys are AMAZING! Tutu Tuesday at The Unicorn Pub was off the chain. Seriously, you all totally nailed the disco theme. I swear, I saw everything from classic tulle tutus to shimmering sequins and a whole lot of pink! #tututuesday
I've been loving seeing how different you guys interpret Tutu Tuesday – every week it’s like a whirlwind of amazing fashion inspiration! There were the classic ballerina styles - I spotted a few beauties rocking the traditional full-length tutus, with romantic powder pink tones – oh, so elegant! They definitely added a touch of refined grace to the evening, like they’d just waltzed off a stage in the West End.
Then, there were the short tutus - perfectly perfect for getting down to some disco moves! These came in all colours, and I spotted a super fun rainbow tutu that practically lit up the dance floor! I could imagine those little fairies having a ball with their glittery spins!
And, let’s not forget the tulle skirt brigade! There were so many fabulous ladies rocking those classic fluffy delights! These skirts are a bit more relaxed and casual but they still gave a strong, chic and fun vibe that was totally perfect for a night of dancing!
There were even some unexpected surprises – like the gentleman in the leopard-print tutu! He totally stole the show! It just proves that #tututuesday is all about embracing your inner sparkle, whatever that looks like! You do you, Highbury!
It’s the disco vibes, of course, that really set this Tutu Tuesday apart. We've got everyone rocking the groove and channeling those glorious seventies sounds. It's all about unleashing your inner groove! The Unicorn's dance floor was just one massive disco ball of joy. The music had the whole place rocking!
Honestly, I love seeing people’s enthusiasm! The whole atmosphere was electric! There were high kicks, spinning twirls, and so many happy faces! My heart did a little flip-flop – the joy was so infectious!
Oh, and did I mention the #discosnail?! He was the star of the show. I've got a sneaky feeling it's a lovechild of the iconic "Disco Stu" and "Gary", with just a hint of "The Flash" thrown in! He shimmied and shook and was so enthusiastic to get everyone moving - the Disco Snail truly was the life of the party!
Honestly, if I could encapsulate the spirit of Tutu Tuesday, it’d be about embracing those disco feels and that beautiful, vibrant joy! It’s about celebrating that sparkle in us all! So thank you to every single one of you, Highbury, for a truly incredible evening of fun, dance, and pure #tututuesday joy!
Right, I’m off to practice my splits, gotta keep up my training to be just like Disco Snail, (that snail really was one fierce dancer!) but I can’t wait to see what you lot do next week!
