Westminster, Oh Westminster!
It's Tuesday, which means it's #Tututuesday! I don't know about you lovelies, but Tuesdays in Westminster can feel a little… well, drab. Like the colours have all faded to beige. So I thought, why not inject some colour, some sparkle, and some serious glam into the mix? I mean, who wouldn't want a bit of ballerina magic in their lives, right?
And what better way to add that touch of magic than with a fabulously, fun #Tututuesday ensemble? I know what you're thinking: "Tutus?! That's a bit… extra, isn't it?" But trust me, my darlings. The right tutu, the one that speaks to your soul (and your love of pink, maybe…), can really turn heads.
And oh, the styles we have to choose from these days. From the classic romantic, frothy tulle to the super chic contemporary, body-skimming designs – there's something for every dancer and every fashionista. And don't even get me started on the colours! From the ever-so-elegant black and white, to the ultra-girlie pinks and blues, and everything in between. It's a sartorial playground!
I know you're all dying to hear about my pick for today's #Tututuesday look. It was all about the pastel pink perfection! You know I have a soft spot for that shade, it’s so dreamy and whimsical – just like a tutu! I've chosen a sweet and bouncy multi-layered tulle tutu, with a little touch of glitter because why not! To complete the look, I added my go-to fluffy pink cardigan (you’ve got to stay warm, darling!) and a pair of glitter-embellished ballet pumps (because a ballerina never goes anywhere without her pumps!) It was the perfect ensemble for a touch of fun, a whole lot of fashion, and a hint of fairytale magic! 😜
I went for a stroll down Oxford Street. I may not have been doing pirouettes in the middle of the street (though I wouldn't say I haven't thought about it!) But I did definitely feel like a disco queen. Honestly, Westminster has never looked so glam!
You know, I’m a real sucker for the unexpected. And today’s surprise came from the cutest little disco snail I’ve ever seen! Seriously. He was shimmying and swaying on the pavement in his shell, just like a miniature disco ball. 🪩 He was giving off such great vibes! So much, that I had to give him a little bow. He seemed to really appreciate it, too, so maybe there is something about this disco tutu after all. #discosnail #tututuesday
Oh, and let’s not forget that Westminster's home to some truly fantastic ballet stores, you know! It's just begging to be explored for all your tutus and other ballet necessities. My absolute fave is the tiny shop tucked away on the corner of Dean Street - "A Bit of Ballet" – that's where I picked up my disco-tastic tutu today! Don't forget to check it out!

- Oh, and don't forget to look out for those iconic London red phone boxes – you never know, maybe you’ll find a disco snail hanging out near one, just like I did!
