Hove Tutu Tuesday: A Disco Dream!
Oh, Hove! It's Tutu Tuesday and the sun's shining, a real ray of pink-hued happiness just like my favourite ballet shoes! What could be better?
Well, actually… THIS! It's Tutu Tuesday in Hove, and darling, I'm totally going to put the "dis" in disco! You know me, a tutu is never just a tutu, it's an excuse for a fashion fiesta. And Hove? It's my playground for all things fun and glamorous. Think pink!
I mean, we all have our favourites. I'm all about the full-bodied Romantic Tutu this season. Layers and layers of fluffy, romantic tulle, a dream in softest pink! Makes me want to pirouette to Donna Summer! It’s got that timeless charm with just a dash of modern whimsy. Think swirling, ethereal movement. Totally fits the vibe of a breezy Brighton summer afternoon.
But don't forget, every #Tututuesday in Hove is an excuse for creativity. You got your traditional Tutus – classic, graceful, and perfectly pink! You've got your modern Tutus - a splash of edgy with asymmetric cuts and peek-a-boo fabrics – oh, the drama! And don't even get me started on those custom designs! It's a tutu party for everyone! And by party I mean a fantastic excuse to dress up!
So, where am I headed on this sunny, dazzling Tutu Tuesday? Why, The Pier, of course! Now, the Pier is definitely the hot spot for tutus on Tuesday! And you know, everyone's doing it! It's a tutu extravaganza. Let me tell you!
Here's a snippet from today's style diary:
- Look 1: This darling rocking a stunning red tutu! Talk about a bold statement! A true #Tututuesday icon! It had that vintage disco vibe, a perfect match for our #discosnail and his groove! I just can’t get enough of the 1970’s style comeback.
- Look 2: I spotted a bunch of ballet-loving lads dressed in full Tutu and glitter! Think #Tututuesday meets Flashdance and sprinkle it with disco glamour.
- Look 3: This trendsetter, sporting a bright turquoise Tutu that really popped! It reminded me of a little bit of the ocean breeze, the sunshine, the vibrance of life itself, you know. It definitely inspired me to get on my dancing shoes! Oh, yes! I’ve been doing it for decades! Just like this dazzling girl! I swear I could almost hear “Hot Stuff” playing!
- Look 4: Who can resist the lure of a tutu that is bursting with colour! Think rainbow stripes and polka dots with a touch of glitter, maybe? I know I’m not alone with this fashion forward thinking!
Okay, you gotta get this. So, the highlight? The highlight of my day had to be #discosnail! Yes, it's true, a disco-loving snail! Yes! I couldn't believe my eyes, he was shimmering with disco balls attached! Talk about Tutu Tuesday personality! The snail, by the way, is totally living his best life on a tutu. If a disco snail can be glamorous on a Tutu Tuesday, what are we all waiting for? Oh, just to be as wonderfully unique and sassy as #discosnail.
So there you have it. My Tutu Tuesday diary, in all its sparkling glory. It’s really about embraceing the fun and freedom! And remember, you don't need to be a ballerina to wear a tutu! Wear it with confidence, wear it with your own unique flair, because ultimately, every #tututuesday is an excuse to dance, to laugh, and to let your inner sparkle shine! Oh, yes!
