Tutu Tuesday in Cheshunt #tututuesday
Hello, darlings! It's your favourite tutu enthusiast and resident fashionista, back with another installment of my beloved #tututuesday blog. Today, we're taking a trip to the vibrant town of Cheshunt, a hidden gem bursting with sparkle and… well, tutus! You guys know I'm all about finding the perfect tutu for any occasion, whether it's a graceful performance at the Royal Opera House or just a cheeky trip to the supermarket for a cheeky packet of those chocolate chip cookies.
Cheshunt, with its quaint cobblestone streets and adorable little tea shops, felt like a charming, miniature stage set for a whimsical tutu adventure. As I sashayed down the High Street in my pink-hued, layered tulle confection (just a little hint of sparkle, darling! The "Twirling Blossom" from "The Ballerina Boutique" is a must-have, you can thank me later!), I felt a sense of pure joy. Honestly, tutus have that power.
Here are my highlights from a simply sensational #tututuesday in Cheshunt:
- **The "Dancing Diva" at Cheshunt Library:** This incredible display, showcasing vintage tutus and historical costume design from local theatre companies, was pure eye-candy! I even spotted a little sneak-peak at a beautifully crafted "pas de deux" from a local amateur ballet production, a must-see if you're ever in Cheshunt.
- **"The Tumbling Tutu": Cheshunt's Local Fabric Haven**: This quirky shop was overflowing with exquisite, vibrant fabrics in all the colors of the rainbow. My inner seamstress screamed "yes, please!" I even saw some shimmery, sequined tulle that had my heart skipping a beat. I just couldn't resist snagging some yards for a new creation, the perfect base for a dazzling #discotutu!
- **Afternoon Tea with a Tutu Twist**: No trip to Cheshunt is complete without a visit to the lovely "The Rosebud Tea Room." They have these absolutely adorable cakes and pastries, you can't tell if they are for dessert or decorations! I had a divine raspberry and elderflower scone, which I devoured, of course, while twirling a bit around the cozy corner seating
Cheshunt proved to be a fabulous fusion of charm and ballet, sprinkled with a little bit of magic. My #tututuesday wouldn't have been complete without a sighting of "The Disco Snail." Remember that fabulous "Disco Snail" mural that I showed you last month in Harlow? It is truly a mesmerizing work of art. Cheshunt has its own unique twist on it, with its disco ball shell glistening under the summer sunshine. Talk about a bold statement! You really just have to see it to believe it.
Now, my darling ballet buddies, remember that when it comes to tutus, it's all about having fun and embracing your inner ballerina! Let the world know you’re a tutu-lover, a dance devotee, a #discosnail devotee — whatever your inner voice is singing!
