Tutu Tuesday in Salisbury: A Disco Delight
Hey darlings! It's your girl, Chloe, back with another post about my favourite day of the week - **Tutu Tuesday!** It’s not every day you get to rock a fabulous tutu, especially in Salisbury. The cobbled streets may not be the obvious place for a whirl in a tutu, but let me tell you, when the mood strikes, it's time to break out the pink, glittery, feather-boa-worthy outfit and hit the town!
This week, I was feeling particularly inspired by the disco-era, you know, the time of bell-bottoms, platform shoes, and disco balls. That meant only one thing: a disco-tutu, obviously! For this look, I opted for a fluffy pink tutu, the kind that flares out with each pirouette, reminiscent of the swirling disco balls of yore. I paired it with a sparkling silver top, to catch the light like a million little disco balls. Don't even get me started on the footwear – I wore sparkly silver platforms that were just the perfect amount of flamboyant.
Of course, no **#discotutu** look is complete without the perfect makeup. This week, I went all out with dramatic eyes. Think sparkling, holographic eyeshadow, a little eyeliner flick, and lashings of mascara - because it’s all about the eyes, darlings!
I wanted to find a spot that would really allow my **#discotutu** to shine. We decided to check out Salisbury's beautiful cathedral. A classic choice for a day of sightseeing, sure, but what’s a girl to do when she wants to show off her awesome **#discotutu**? You can never go wrong with a cathedral's high arches and stunning stained glass windows; a backdrop for a disco-themed photo op, I assure you!
While I was snapping photos, the most amazing thing happened. This little snail – like a teeny disco ball on four tiny feet – it crossed my path! A tiny snail with a glitter trail, the most perfect accessory to my disco ensemble. It was so disco-licious that it just had to have its own hashtag, #discosnail. I snapped a picture for posterity, obviously!
Salisbury, it's such a delight when a disco dream come to life! **#TutuTuesday** just made a special trip to Salisbury that much more fun. Don't be afraid to be bold and dance to your own beat!
