Tutu Tuesday in Dunstable: A Celebration of Frills and Flourishes
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s Tutu Tuesday! And as your resident tutu aficionado (and resident #discosnail!), I’m here to give you the lowdown on what went down in Dunstable. This quaint little town was buzzing with tutus, sparkle and a whole lot of #tututuesday love. It's no surprise. Dunstable is, well, *let's say* a bit lacking in the fashionable stakes. This Tuesday however, Dunstable was anything but lacking! The air crackled with the thrill of pink tulle and feathers!
I love Tutu Tuesdays. It’s not just an opportunity to wear the most gloriously frilly, fabulous garment known to man. It's about embracing the spirit of individuality. It's a day where we can celebrate our inner ballerina, express ourselves through our chosen style, and inspire a little bit of * joie de vivre* into our surroundings.
The energy was infectious. There was a real buzz as I strolled through the market square. People chatted excitedly about their favourite tutu styles. "I’m loving the classic romantic tutu with layers upon layers of soft, gauzy tulle, " declared a fellow #tututuesday enthusiast. And the other lady simply pointed at my custom sparkly, hot pink disco tutu that I’d been dying to wear since I designed it. " I think your tutu looks awesome!" She gushed. This lady was clearly a true #discosnail.

I'm a huge fan of the classic romantic tutu. It’s so feminine and ethereal! If you're a more bold type, the short tutu is ideal for showing off your legs. Or try a tutu skirt. Think disco party fun but a little more subdued, perhaps to be worn on a more casual #tututuesday! Then, for extra pizzazz, I highly recommend adding some bling - sparkly tights, a disco-themed headband, even some rhinestones!

So, what about Dunstable’s #tututuesday turnout? I'm happy to say, it did not disappoint. From tiny tutus to floor-length wonders, there was a whole rainbow of colors. One young girl was sporting a neon pink tutu, which lit up the whole market square. This girl knows how to make a statement. Another group of friends donned their tutu outfits and did a little spontaneous dance routine – I mean, who could resist the joy of a good tutu twirl?! So fabulous!

One of the best things about #tututuesday in Dunstable is the sense of community. It brought people together, celebrating creativity, fun and, well, all things sparkly and twirly. It's no wonder that this tiny little town erupted into a whirlwind of #tututuesday joy. Let’s keep the tutu love alive and keep bringing that #discosnail out in the world!
