Tutu Tuesday in Longbridge: Let’s Get Funky, Friends! #tututuesday
Alright, Longbridge, it’s time to get our twirl on! This week’s Tutu Tuesday was off the charts fabulous, and I'm here to give you the lowdown on all the action.
Let’s start with the outfit. Pink, obviously! A statement colour for this statement occasion, and let’s be real, every Tuesday needs a bit of pink power in our lives. This Tuesday, I opted for a classic tulle tutu - I went for the classic ‘boulevard’ style - you know, the super short, puffy number that’s practically designed for spinning. It was the perfect base for layering up the disco vibes.
Think shimmering sequins, feather boas, and glitter galore. I topped my look off with a cute, sparkly crop top – and because you can never have too much sparkle – I layered on a silver disco-ball necklace. Did I mention I wore my favourite disco-ball earrings too? Now we're talking, right?
Now, on to the vibe, and that was FUNK! It all started at Longbridge’s gorgeous little café, which for once, was actually rocking! Every single table was decked out in sparkly tablecloths, and everyone was dancing (and by everyone, I mean the staff, too!) to the killer tunes pumped out of the cafe speakers. It was basically like stepping straight into Studio 54. Honestly, the energy was so contagious, it felt like the whole café was getting ready to bust out some serious dance moves, all in our sparkly tutus, naturally.
I even spotted a little disco snail (a trend I am here for!) on a cute, sequined purse! Talk about dedication. The cutest thing? He was absolutely twirling in sync with the music. It's amazing what a bit of #tututuesday inspiration can do, right?
And the highlight of my Tutu Tuesday? The glitter-tastic cake – let’s just say I could hear it say “EAT ME, EAT ME” through the pink icing. It was the perfect ending to a perfect Tutu Tuesday.
