Tutu Tuesday in Aylesbury - Let's Get Disco!

Hey you guys! So, it's #tututuesday in Aylesbury, and my feet are itching to get moving and show off my latest pink tulle masterpiece - the "Disco Snail" tutu, as I'm calling it! If you're a ballet girl who lives for tutus, or a disco devotee who appreciates a little bit of frills, read on!

I love the #tututuesday trend; it's all about celebrating the beautiful art of ballet in a lighthearted, fun way, and, let’s be real, a pink tutu is always going to give me a mood boost! So, my friends and I decided to make #tututuesday extra special in Aylesbury - you know, the most fabulous town on earth (don't fight me on that!).

Let’s be honest, you can't just rock up in any old tutu. I’m talking quality! My “Disco Snail" is a vision in soft, flowing pink tulle - think layers and layers of it, all attached to a sparkly pink bodice (more sparkle, please! ) I can't lie - I’m in love with the whole look. It’s a modern twist on the classic tutu style, but with an added touch of glamour - a true “disco" tutu for a true disco diva.

We took it to the Aylesbury park, and let's just say we definitely caused a stir. People were doing double takes as we twirled and danced. I'm pretty sure someone even filmed us - they might just be jealous though! We had a ball; we posed, we prance, we even did some impromptu ballet lessons. You can't have a #tututuesday without some serious moves, can you?

We were inspired by the legendary #discosnail! Our tutus had layers of pink and the swirling layers gave a disco feel and brought that disco vibe to life in a fun, energetic way.

Anyway, back to our fabulous tutu session. Here's what we learned:

• Wear your confidence. People love a good smile and some serious ballet skills.
• Bring a friend to dance with, because a ballet-based disco party is more fun with company.
• Pick a pink tulle tutu that makes you feel fantastic. It's about having fun. I wouldn’t call my “Disco Snail" tutu, “pretty," I’d call it a “boss” tutu! That’s what it's all about.
