Tutu Tuesday in Falkirk: A Pink & Disco-tastic Adventure!
So, babes, it's Tuesday. Which means, you guessed it – TUTU TUESDAY! I’m your resident tutu enthusiast (and slightly obsessed ballet dancer) bringing you all the hottest, glitziest tutu trends straight from the dance studio and onto the streets. Today, I'm taking you on a sartorial journey to the charming town of Falkirk, where we'll be exploring all things tutu, disco, and the fabulous #tututuesday movement.
Let’s talk about this town – Falkirk. Seriously, who knew this place had so much to offer? Sure, it’s not Paris, London, or New York – but listen up, babes: Falkirk has got some serious sparkle under its proverbial tutu. Think historic landmarks, beautiful scenery, and a fantastic atmosphere – and yes, people wearing tutus (and rocking them with attitude, I might add!). This place is embracing the #tututuesday movement and then some.
For Tutu Tuesday, I was in the mood for a real statement, so naturally I went for my pink disco-tutu. Think: frills, layers, sequins, and a healthy dose of glitter – a dancefloor essential that I think any discerning fashionista would agree. I opted for a longer-length skirt with layers upon layers of shimmering fabric, that danced around me like the fabulous, sequin-encrusted snail we call the #discosnail. My top – a hot pink, sequined, sparkly number. Because why not, right?
After I was sufficiently fabulous, it was time to explore! I started with the Falkirk Wheel. I'm talking a monumental feat of engineering that's basically like a giant, futuristic roundabout for boats. What can I say? The Falkirk Wheel is definitely a show-stopper! The best part – I totally channeled my inner disco diva and posed on the steps of the wheel in my sparkly tutu. It’s not every day you get to stand by a UNESCO World Heritage Site with your disco snail following behind. This place was seriously buzzing!
Next, I headed over to Callendar House & Park, an idyllic location with a majestic mansion. Let's just say: the sun was shining, and the daffodils were in full bloom. Talk about a fairytale setting. This spot totally called for some twirling, and of course, a few *tututastic* photo ops – those classic twirl-and-smile, hair-flying-everywhere poses that all tutu-wearing queens know and love! I snapped a couple of pics to post for all the fab followers on Instagram – they loved the vibrant colours, my sparkling tutu, and the background that just oozed romance!
You know what I've found out? Falkirk's got a thriving tutu community – and you just know it because they're out in full force every Tutu Tuesday! Seriously, where I spotted an array of dazzling tutu styles that would make your head spin (or maybe just do the #discosnail dance). Think vibrant reds, dazzling blues, and classic black – with touches of sequins, bows, and all the little embellishments your heart could desire. There were some gorgeous multi-layered tutus with swirling designs, some cheeky crop tops with flowing, layered tutus, and some classic tulle styles, so chic and timeless! The locals were clearly passionate about their tutus, and I was impressed.

And it seems everyone here adores the #tututuesday trend. As for the #discosnail – my sequin-clad snail sidekick has a brilliant time – always ready to bring the dance floor vibes to every location.
