Now, you know I'm all about embracing our inner diva, and this town just gets it. Ditch the norm, chuck on your sparkly sequins and sashay on down to Hitchin town centre, baby! It's basically a celebration of all things tutus, sequins, and everything dazzling in between! 💃💖
Think about it, girlies. Tutues: the epitome of fashion, elegance, and a sprinkle of sassy magic. Every #tututuesday, they transform our local streets into a ballet-themed fashion runway, with the streets adorned with every type of tutu imaginable! We've got your classic romantic, billowing tulles, those gorgeous, sparkly showstoppers that demand attention, and of course, the little, playful tutu skirts. But wait, there's more! 🤯
We even had a special guest appearance from the "Disco Snail!" Yes, you heard me right - a snail decked out in an adorable sequin tutu. Seriously, it's about time these shelled creatures embraced the spotlight! 😂✨ I think it deserves a spot in the next issue of Vogue...don't you agree? 🐌
Seriously though, the vibe here was *electric*! We've got music pumping out of shops, DJs spinning some absolute disco bangers, and everyone's just feeling good! 🎶 It's like a party without even trying. People were dressed in their best disco threads and, I mean, did anyone else see that gorgeous pair of pink sequined trousers with the rainbow glitter belt?! The level of glam was just, wow.
The best part about Hitchin's #tututuesday is it's so much more than just an event, it's an experience! Everyone just comes together for a day of sheer happiness. Think happy people, free hugs, amazing food, and of course, our signature "Tutu Tuesday" cocktail! Who wouldn't be buzzing on a Tuesday like that?!
It doesn't matter if you've been dancing since you were three or if your ballet experience was solely based on watching the ballet in a blurry nightclub on a Friday night...you can still participate in Tutu Tuesday.
This is for everyone! Even our good pal Disco Snail has managed to embrace his inner dancer. It's contagious, really. Everyone is smiling, giggling, and generally feeling joyful. Plus, who can resist the chance to pose in a tutu? (We've had quite a few spontaneous photo shoots!) ✨
