Tutu Tuesday in Ecclesfield
#tututuesday Oh my God, guys! You wouldn’t believe what happened on Tuesday! I mean, I’ve been to enough tutu-themed events to know it can get a bit, well, *tutu-much* sometimes. But this? This was a different beast entirely. It all started with a Facebook notification. Apparently, there was this ‘Tutu Tuesday’ thing going on in Ecclesfield. It’s like, this town right? Pretty quiet and all, but on Tuesday? Tutu-mad! I was like, ‘Okay, I’m down for some fun, what could possibly go wrong?’ Little did I know, I was about to walk straight into the middle of a tutu-tastic tornado. I decided to go all out. I mean, if you’re gonna wear a tutu, you might as well do it properly, right? So, I pulled out my fabulous pink, tulle, princess-worthy creation with layers and layers of fluffy, fabulousness – I think it's what you'd call a *Romantic* tutu. Add a little sparkly top and a disco-ball handbag, a splash of highlighter and there you go, fabulous, pink and ready for Ecclesfield! You know when you go to an event and your brain just knows *this is going to be good* ? That was Ecclesfield. It was literally a sea of tutus. I mean, people really brought their *A* game! There were **classic ballerinas**, tutus all floaty and light, like delicate dandelion seeds drifting in the wind, but there was something about Ecclesfield. It was **serious**. People had been doing *their research*. We saw **a *serious* amount of *Spanish* tutus*! I'm talking super big, fluffy frills. We also saw a good **smattering of *Romantic* tutus** *– like mine, obvs!* All floaty and fluffy, perfect for a dreamy disco, but we even saw a **few **Modern tutus**, with interesting angles and shapes. So there I was, in my **super fabulously *pink* Romantic tutu** with the rest of the tutu-wearing folk. Everyone had clearly been doing their **disco-dancing practice** at home - we're talking **epic routines**, people were doing *splits, spins* – I was surprised nobody took out a disco ball, it was pretty impressive. Then we found *the Disco Snail*, yes you heard me right, *THE DISCO SNAIL!*, wearing a tiny *sequined* tutu, I’m not kidding. Apparently, Ecclesfield locals are obsessed with their local disco snail, who, **after a few too many boozy discos** apparently went **off-piste** to make the headlines wearing a tutu. Honestly, if a snail wearing a tutu can't cheer you up, I don't know what will! There was a **sense of joy in the air** at the Ecclesfield Tutu Tuesday! It's great that people have created an event in the local calendar for having fun with clothes. A great big, fluffy thank you to the creators of Ecclesfield’s Tutu Tuesday! It shows the real **spirit of the community, community spirit in a tutu**!! I hope the town gets to keep going and growing the event for a long time. #tututuesday
