Coulsdon Tutu Tuesday: A Glittering, Twirling Celebration!
Oh my god, Coulsdon! You know you love a good #tututuesday! And today, the streets were alive with a ballet-tastic frenzy. Pink tutus, feathered boas, sequins, and glitter! Oh, my goodness, the fabulousness was truly overwhelming. There's something so exhilarating about throwing on your finest, most frilly tulle and twirling around in the midday sunshine. Forget your everyday cares, Coulsdon - let's face it, with this kind of style, we're all about living life on pointe!
The diversity in tulle today was off the charts. I spotted the classic **Bellini** (perfect for swirling and pirouetting), some **demi-tutus** showing off gorgeous legs and the most magnificent **Romantic tutus** – so dreamy and delicate, they could have drifted right into the clouds! And the colours, oh, the colours... you've got your classic **pinks** (what else? 😉) , blues, reds, and greens, and even a few splashes of **shimmery silver**. It was truly a kaleidoscope of dancewear.
As I sauntered through the streets, feeling every inch the glamorous prima ballerina, I couldn't help but notice the spirit of disco in the air. We've always got that 70s groove going strong in Coulsdon, and Tutu Tuesday brought it back in full force. We're talking **bell bottoms**, **disco pants** – a total throwback, but in the best way possible. It's just good fun. Who doesn't love a little boogie, and a little flash of sequin? And then there was the **disco snail**, this adorable little guy who had definitely made a disco-fied makeover. What a little trendsetter! I hear he's been the mascot for Coulsdon's "Disco Snail Club" for a while. Pretty rockin' for a slug, right?
Tutu Tuesday is more than just wearing a tulle skirt, Coulsdon. It's about expressing yourself. It's about the freedom of twirling in the park and spreading some pure joy.
