#tututuesday Hey darlings, It's your girl, Maisie, back with another blog post – and what a fabulous one it is! Today we're celebrating all things pink, sparkly, and most importantly, TUTU. You heard that right – it's Tutu Tuesday, and what better place to showcase some fabulous frocks than the beautiful town of Sutton in Ashfield! For those of you new to the glorious world of #Tutuesday, it's a day dedicated to all things tutu. Think of it like a glamorous, whimsical, and undeniably fabulous alternative to those dull old "business casual" Wednesdays. So, why choose Sutton in Ashfield as our location for this particular Tutu Tuesday? Well, aside from the fact that it's simply a charming town, I'm determined to bring a touch of fabulousness to every corner of the UK! Sutton in Ashfield deserves to feel like a catwalk.

Let's Talk Tutùs We’re talking tutu power! Now, a tutu can be more than just a fluffy, dance-worthy garment. A tutu can be a statement. It can be a badge of honor. It can be a symbol of empowerment and a little bit of "screw you, world, I'm gonna be fabulous." Speaking of "screw you," one of my absolute fave things about tutus is their ability to challenge gender stereotypes. Think of the quintessential "little girl in pink" image. But who says that’s the only way to wear a tutu? My dear LGBTQ+ pals have been rockin’ the tutus since way back – remember Divine? Her glorious tulle extravaganzas showed the world that fabulous knows no gender boundaries, and honestly, they made tutus cool way before I was even a twinkle in my mama’s eye. There are tutus for every personality, which is why I love them so much: * **The Classic Tutu:** Think graceful ballerina vibes. Imagine a cloud of pink tulle in all its elegant simplicity. * **The Short, Sweet Tutu:** Perfect for those who want to add a dash of whimsy without going overboard. These can be paired with a cute top, leggings, or even a bold print. * **The Glamorous Tutu:** Think full-on feather boa, sparkling sequins, and major disco vibes. This one’s all about making a grand entrance. * **The Upcycled Tutu:** Embrace creativity! There’s a joy in upcycling something old into something fabulous. And who says you can’t use leftover fabrics or old dresses to create a one-of-a-kind tutu masterpiece? Let’s give it some love!

There was this phenomenal group of friends from Sutton in Ashfield, all dressed up in stunning, glittery, bright tutus. The most spectacular thing about their tutus is that they had painted the cutest LGBTQ+ pride flags onto their tutus. It really gave me the biggest sense of pride and solidarity, and of course, a sprinkle of joy. They brought joy, confidence, and sparkle to their town in the most empowering way. Honestly, they embody everything I adore about #Tututuesday! I had to chat with them, and as usual, Sutton in Ashfield just blew my mind!
