Today, it was all about embracing our inner ballerinas, glitter-bombing our wardrobes, and celebrating the beauty of self-expression. It’s no surprise that Frome, a town renowned for its vibrant creative scene, is the perfect place for this infectious celebration. As soon as I set foot in the Market Place, the first thing that struck me was the sheer abundance of colour, literally bursting from every nook and cranny. You couldn't miss the stunning spectacle of the rainbow-hued tutu extravaganza! Everywhere you looked, tutus were taking centre stage, each telling its own story of personal style and creativity:

I couldn't resist buying a rainbow pride ribbon to pin to my own tutu for extra sparkle and support. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the vibrant “Twirl for Pride” dance workshop led by none other than the incredibly talented, local dance artist, Olivia Rose. She expertly guided a diverse group of individuals – from experienced dancers to those who haven't twirled since childhood – through a dynamic dance sequence set to the infectiously upbeat rhythm of disco classics. Olivia's infectious energy and uplifting choreography brought out everyone's inner showstopper. You couldn't help but get caught up in the moment as the air thrummed with joy, laughter, and a sense of community. The feeling was truly magical. Here in the heart of Frome, we had a melting pot of people, united in their love of dance, music, and celebration. As the sun began its descent, casting long shadows across the market, the air hummed with the beautiful energy of the day.
