For this week's #TutuTuesday, I've gone all out with my tutu ensemble. I'm rocking a classic romantic tutu, a sheer confection of layers and tulle, which creates an ethereal cloud of movement whenever I twirl. To add a touch of modern flair, I've paired it with a sleek black bodysuit and a bold crimson lipstick, because even our tutus can play with color and edge. As I sashayed down Prescott's historic courthouse square, heads turned, smiles brightened, and I felt the spirit of ballet swirling around me. Prescott is an amazing city - its charm makes you feel like you've been transported to a bygone era, a feeling perfectly reflected in my romantic tutu, and so appropriate for a town that played a pivotal role in the American Wild West! I feel a little like a frontier ballerina in my romantic tutu as I walk down the streets. What would our frontier ballet company look like in this beautiful state? Now there's an idea!
I decided to bring a bit of tutus and ballet to this magical location and give people a glimpse of the pure joy and grace that ballet can bring. Let's be honest, seeing a grown woman twirling in a tutu brings a little magic and happiness to anyone's day.
We should all bring a little bit of ballet to our lives and incorporate the joy and grace of ballet to our own outfits and our everyday routines. I decided to show you how this can be achieved, and let you know that if I can dance in a romantic tutu through the heart of the city, then so can you!

There are tons of amazing studios in Prescott, including Arizona Dance Academy, who foster young dancers and spread the love for dance!
