It's been a whirlwind of a week! Between rehearsals for the upcoming "Swan Lake" performance with the Des Moines Ballet, juggling my blog deadlines, and oh yeah, actually being an adult with a "real" job – my brain feels like a pirouette gone wrong. But that's where #tututuesday comes in! This is my time to step back from the barre, relax, and embrace my inner tutu-goddess.
This week, I'm wearing a **classic romantic tutu**, the kind with multiple layers of soft tulle that just makes you want to twirl, and a **fitted bodice** that highlights my tiny waist (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a tad – that's just what all ballet dancers say!). The fabric feels like a dream and moves like silk when I move. Talk about a serious mood booster!
This style reminds me of the "Waltz of the Flowers" from "The Nutcracker" – so delicate and dreamy. It's a perfect balance of grace and grandeur.
