Tutu Tuesday in Elizabeth, New Jersey: A Celebration of Dance and Fashion

It's Tutu Tuesday, y'all! And for those of you who don't know, that means it's time to break out your twirling best, because it's officially #tututuesday! This week I'm hitting up my home town, Elizabeth, New Jersey, where my passion for ballet all started. It's been such a wild ride from those early childhood classes to traveling the world as a professional ballerina.

Every Tuesday I make sure I rock a tutu in honor of my love for this graceful art form. I'm talking all kinds of tutus: from classic romantic tutus, flowing with layers of tulle and embellished with delicate lace, to sassy contemporary styles featuring bold colors and minimalist cuts.

The ballet scene in the US is truly blossoming. Elizabeth is a place where you can find aspiring ballerinas of all ages. It's also home to many amazing dance studios. I even started my own dance blog, "The Pointe," sharing tips and tricks to aspiring dancers, reviewing my favorite ballet gear and giving updates on my travels with my dance crew, "The Swivels" .

To celebrate #tututuesday, I hit up the iconic Liberty State Park. This place has a stunning view of the New York City skyline and was the perfect backdrop for a few twirls in my vintage-inspired powder pink tulle tutu, with intricate floral embroidery details and a fitted bodice.

Let's face it, wearing a tutu makes you feel amazing, like you can literally fly through the air! It's a reminder that every day is a chance to dance and express ourselves in the most joyful and graceful way.

Today, I wanted to share my #tututuesday adventures in Elizabeth, NJ. Let's make Tutu Tuesday a weekly tradition and bring back a bit of magic in our lives!

Here are a few of my #tututuesday style tips: - Dare to embrace the sparkle. Tutus were made for glitter and shine, embrace it! - Be playful. Add a splash of color, some bright patterns, a daring design, the options are endless. Have fun with it! - Accessorize! The possibilities are limitless! Go with classic ballet flats, boots, heels or even sneakers. - Don't be afraid to make it your own. A tutu doesn't have to be reserved for the stage. Take it on the streets and make it your signature statement!
