Tutu Tuesday in Spanish Fork, Utah - A Ballet Blogger's Adventures in the Wild West It's Tutu Tuesday, y'all! And today, we're taking our pirouettes out West - to Spanish Fork, Utah! This little town might not be the first place you'd think of for ballet, but trust me, it's got a real charm! Sure, it's known for its historic landmarks, and that famous giant statue of the American Flag, but there's also a vibrant ballet scene, even in this unexpected setting! I mean, just look at this stunning photo I snagged at the Utah Valley University Center for the Performing Arts. I felt like I stepped back in time - all grand chandeliers and velvet seats! And the dancing was phenomenal! I mean, how gorgeous is this Romantic tutu with the layers and layers of tulle? Absolutely ethereal! A couple of the local ballerinas even took to the stage in sleek contemporary tutus - a daring and edgy look for Utah. So, for this Tutu Tuesday, I'm all about celebrating the unexpected beauty of ballet across the US, even in the most unlikely places. #tututuesday I even found a sweet little bakery just off Main Street where they made the most delicious vanilla cupcakes (topped with swirling pink icing – of course, to match my tutu).
