Hey dancers and fashionistas! It’s your girl, Lily, back again with another #tututuesday blog post. I’m here to talk to you about tutu trends, because who doesn’t love a good tutu? Whether you’re a professional ballerina, a ballet enthusiast, or just a lover of all things girly, a tutu can elevate any look. You know I have my fair share of tutus, so today, I am going to be sharing my top five picks for a fabulous Tutu Tuesday in Miami Beach, Florida!

When in doubt, just try pairing the tutu with a pretty floral print. There is just something about florals and pastels that is a match made in heaven. For this look, your shoe choices will also lean into femininity - stilettos or some kind of flat with some feminine detailing would work best. A low bun is an obvious choice and if you feel confident, you could try your luck with a sleek, chic ballerina bun - a real hair masterpiece - you have got to be brave and know what you’re doing! Or a French braid looks absolutely amazing when styled with this. You don’t want to look too serious so I'd keep the makeup minimal with some bold lip color or even try your hand at some glitter makeup! Just try to keep it casual.

Some times all you really want to do on #tututuesday is to throw on a comfortable outfit. That's where my favorite, easy to wear look comes in: the casual chic tutu! If I’m going for comfort and style, a soft layered tutu or a maxi-tutu is my best friend. Just like the classic tutu, this style is pretty casual so pairing it with a sweater, a basic shirt, or even a sweatshirt for a little edgy, fashion forward look is always going to look nice.

To help tone down this casual look, just rock some sneakers, flats, sandals, or maybe even boots! For the makeup and jewelry - go for minimalist. Remember it's all about that cozy vibe and making a fashion statement while you're out exploring all the awesome shops, markets and food stands of Miami Beach. I’d always recommend keeping the look simple and effortless while rocking this #tututuesday casual chic look, because you know how important comfort and effortlessness is to the Miami vibe!

Miami Beach is famous for its nightlife. So this list would be incomplete without the #tututuesday look for all those fabulous, glamorous Miami Beach parties. A black, white, or bold colored tutu looks best for this fun night look. Now let’s not go overboard! You want to keep it classy, but not too formal, since Miami nightlife is all about rocking those edgy vibes! So stick with your favorite tutu and give it a bit of an edge with some awesome accessories, maybe a fun top, and your favorite statement shoes.

Miami nights are hot so maybe even opt for an open-toed, strappy shoe or platform sandals with just a touch of glamour. Don’t forget about the makeup! Some nice smoky eye, and you know I love me some red lipstick or maybe even a dark bold lip will really top it all off.
